Nobody like her. My mom would have loved this legend, as she sang professionally with all the Big Band groups in the swing era. She loved great singers, and when she was in the nursing home with dementia, I would bring my I pad and watch great singers with her. Angelina could have sang in any era, as she is a once in a lifetime talent, for all of us to enjoy . God Bless this classy young lady.

Thank you for another fine reaction to Angelina. It has been suggested that this performance was Angelina's response to comments that she wasn't capable of "belting" a song or of singing in the higher register. She certainly plastered egg over all those who posted those comments :-) Obviously they were lacking in comprehension, as Angelina she never goes into unnecessary theatrics. Never sings those high or low notes unless they are absolutely necessary. Never projects herself in any performance which says "look how good I am". She just sings the song as she feels it is meant to be sung. And I'll add an even more extraordinary item for you to consider, to show how unique she is. She has the innate ability not only to sing a song as emotionally as the song deserves but to be able to communicate those same emotions to the listener. How such a talented young person, who is aware of her uniqueness is able to remain so shy and humble, with her feet firmly on the ground, is a sense of amazement to me.

@@KristinKali In the 80's I went to a lot of concerts, but back then you could get a decent seat for 12-16 bucks. Now, the online world has changed things and instead of making money from album sales the bands make money from shows-so it is prohibitively expensive to go. With that said, I have always loved ABBA but they only did one North American tour (ten dates) and the band effectively broke up in 1983. So, the original musicians (guitarists, drummer, sax player, etc.) stayed in touch. In 2005, with the blessing of Bjorn and Bennie, they created an act called ABBA-The Show (with two new singers). Once a year they'll do one or two dates in the U.S. but they tour extensively in Europe. I caught them in 2010 and paid big bucks for a front row seat-treating it as a "once in a lifetime" event. I will do the same with Angelina.

@@ChrisPage68 Floor Jansen is fabulous, and I absolutely love her. But she's also a full grown woman (39), and AJ was barely 13 here. There's a mash up of Angelina and Whitney on this song, and she matches Whitney almost perfectly. I some places it's hard to tell the difference between them.

At 13, this is AJ's tribute to Whitney, and she is not trying to best her. There had been criticism in some of her earlier performances that she couldn't go high, so this served as an opportunity to lay that to rest. She's actually singing one key higher than the original. This type of belting puts a lot of strain on her young voice box; I wouldn't want to see her do this very much. I liken it to a very young kid trying to throw a sharp breaking curse ball; too much stress on the joints and muscles before they are fully developed, which can cause permanent damage. So for Angelina, it's been pretty much one and done, which is a good thing for her developing voice. That said, this was pretty damn awesome! But that's the case with almost everything see sings. I loved your very sincere reaction, and I look forward to more. 😊💕

I presume you are new to Kristin's channel. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at age 9 with the talent you see before you. Most of the time she is a "torch singer" which is something that existed from the 1930's to the early 60's. Angelina ressurected the art form singlehandedly (she is often copied though she is in her mid teens).
