This was a fund raising event for the "Swedish Heros" anti-bullying campaign that Angelina was invited to sing at. She was quite ill and had been advised by her doctor not to attend this event but she had made a commitment and did not want to miss it.

This reminds me that Freddie Mercury had a throat infection and was advised by his doctors not to perform at Live Aid. We all know how that turned out. Both real troopers, real pros. But that kind of dedication from a child must be a very rare thing.

@@ItsMe-cz1pi Turns out, the order of the two performances is the reverse. She sang this on 2014-12-08, two days before the Nobel performance (which was at the "Save the Children Peace Prize Party" [Redd Barnas Fredsprisfest], the day of the awards ceremony). Presumably, the idea that this one came after the other is based on the date it was broadcast on TV (2014-12-12).

In 2014 I bought my first tablet, I'm 61 and not technically experienced! Looking through KZbin I found a little girl singing my daughter's favorite song... gloomy Sunday, it was just amazing! I showed it to her and she just said, nice dad! For me it was the start of a journey I'm still on and always will be!!! Go Angelina!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts on Angelina as an 8 year old singer is that her body was struggling to accommodate her immense talent. Even in this performance where she was sick, at 5:13 she forced her vocals to go where they were needed and that was an example of perfect imperfection. Love this amazing artist!

Can you imagine the commitment shown here from any other 8 year old anywhere? She was so sick when she did this, all for the name and cause of a charity. She put them first - above her health - to help others. She's amazing in so many ways. Keep exploring the young performances of our barefoot princess. You won't be disappointed, and believe me, if you cry, well, know we're all crying right along with you my friend. Peace! 🥴✨

Me too, I stumbled upon this young child when I was seeking new talents and be very happy to found her. She amazed me with every new song. She is a great artist and wants to share her feelings with us. Music has the power to bring people together like no other artform, her message. I don't fear for her future, she has an immense inner power and compass to navigate through her life. I hope I can sail a long time with Her 💕

Great reaction, Uncle Momo. - So, here you have Angelina Jordan, age 8, with a case of severe cold, pushing through. And it sounds like THAT ? Come on guys. We already knew at this stage (no pun intended) that she would be the future. Nowadays we know that even more. There's nothing stopping this girl, and there never has been. And there never will be. Let's see if the world is ready for her. I am.

For me, it was AGT 2020, discovering her. You are right. In my humble opinion She has a God given talent, developed further through hard, hard work. She is a driven, almost obsessed young lady, dont troll, Angelina herself said that singing and music is for her as necessary as breathing. You have to be driven as a child, to achieve what she has now. Let us be thankful, that this young woman is a humble human, even knowing, how good she is. Now that she officially started her career, let us "angels" stand by her, give her support, and spread the word of her big heart and her wish for peace in this world.

Good reaction! One of the prominent aspects of Angelina that was apparent from the earliest age was her passion and dedication to perfecting her performances. As she was quite sick here, she added extra emotion to get the message of the song across. Her driving thoughts have always been "The Show must go on"! For me the first song I heard was Gloomy Sunday - I was a little confused by that at first as I had never heard that song before, but then I heard Summertime - I then knew that there was something special about this little person, next I heard her sing What a difference a day makes - wow the little person was already a seasoned professional, with such confidence and control!

Thanks for another beautiful reactions with Angelina, Momo, I always like them. This is one Angelina's most emotional performances, for the age, the event, the commitment and her bad health (you can hear it from her particularly nasal voice), when she sang at this event held in Sweden every year to honor everyday heroes (the photos were of those people) in December. Every time, really every time, I'm moved to see the commitment and passion she puts into this her sweet interpretation. 💛 🧡 ❤️ Momo, if you really want to cry watch this, it's another video (not for reaction) on the stage of that concert where Angelina puts an infinite tenderness, is she alone, tiny on the stage while waiting for everyone to finish preparing the show and you can hear the her coughing in the microphone 😊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3ungqmFjb2XY9k I was lucky to discover she at the time of the NGT, she caused so much sensation that, strangely, they reproduced hers interpretations also in Italy, since then I have continued to follow it sporadically until 4 years ago, when it became a fixed accompaniment in my days. 🧡

It is said that she had a sore throat before this performance but because it was a large fund raising event for charity she was adamant in wanting to perform. Last I heard, she has helped raise over 29 million for charity. Even while a being a bit a bit under the weather, she proceeds to mesmerize the audience with her rendition of this classic song . This girl has done more to help the needy than Mother Teresa at this young age. What a great representation of what a caring human being should be.

Working on at a ski resort construction project away from the family, in McCall, Idaho, I would spend my evenings watching videos of singing performances from different competition shows to enjoy the variety of singers. Loved the surprise of first impressions of somebody sometimes destroyed when they start singing. The voice (multiple countries), American Idol, British’s Got Talent, America’s Got Talent, whatever KZbin would recommend for me. Then I saw a post showing an AGT Champions performance of Bohemian Rhapsody, being a huge Queen fan I clicked and waited to “rock out”. When I heard her answer Heidi she won Norway’s Got Talent at age 7, my brain went “wait what?”. Then she started singing acapella in a slow jazzy style, my mouth fell open, my mind went blank in overload to the pure unbelievable talent this girl had. After listening to the performance a dozen times, I googled her NGT performances, stayed up way to late watching her videos, and have been “HOOKED” ever since. Thanks for the reaction.

U.M., sir, As I understand it, AJ sang at the Nobel Peace Price presentation Oslo, in winter outdoors, with a carpet and a heater for her bare feet, but as she not only sang to the recipients of the NPP, she sang before that to the audience, she had also Jetlag from her US-stint at the View. She caught a massive cold. Shortly after that, as Phil and others wrote, she was seriously ill. But a given word, is a given word and AJ is, to this day, a woman of her given word/vow. The audience in Sweden knew about her sickness and honored her with a big applause. Momo, sir and all you wonderful commenters, stay safe and healthy, have a nice and peaceful Time and Holy Days, let us pray for a better and more peaceful 2022.

I have likened her youtube videos in the simpler settings with just a guitar or karaoke backing track to recorded homework assignments (whether the assignments came from her coaches or whether she tasked herself with them I don't know). You can see her trying a new style or technique in each video. As it turned out, the decision to put those recordings out for public viewing was genius, and I am sure the responses have boosted Angelina's confidence. The persistence with which she pursues improvement and the rate at which she improves and masters new techniques and abilities is amazing. The recording of "I, Who Have Nothing" in the studio of the school she attended in Norway, at age 6, is a perfect example. She was a bit nervous and unsteady at first, but with each line you can see and hear the confidence grow. I don't recall seeing that self discipline in anyone as young as she is. She definitely has found the purpose which will guide her life.

First heard "I put a spell on you" few years back while surfing YT for newer music and artists...pretty fed up with what was and is out there now. After seeing that performance by a 9 year old I was instantly hooked and went back to her first performances 6-7-8 years old and from that point on could not get enough Angelina per day as I went through every single video from her channels to Grandma Mery's channel. After seeing everything I could started watching reactors to see if they were seeing and hearing what I was. It is not only her superior vocal talent but the person she is that draws you in. Kind, humble, caring and generous to a fault. Hopefully I can be around long enough to continue my journey with Angelina as, and this is scary, she will continue to get better and better and better. Angelina has truly made a difference in my life and I thank her for that. Still listen to her every single day and shall continue to do so. Thanks for the reaction and comments UM.

Great reaction and my 1st was Bohemian Rhapsody, while watching AGT The Champions 2. I was so amazed I immediately went to You Tube and seen she had done songs since she was 6. I watched rest of AGT performances and was in awe! Before her I thought Leanne Rimes had the best voice on the Planet. After watching her every day since, I have noticed, she has a unique ability to listen to a Singer and hear the nuances what makes them unique and good and puts it in her Musical Toolbox for later use. When she covers a song if you listen closely you can hear somewhat the voice of the artist who performed the version she chooses to take from. Because she has perfect ear and pitch and I believe some type of photographic memory once she hears a nuance she likes it is automatically retained. Come on, she new how to get on You Tube at age of 1-1/2 and new at 3 type in 1st 3 letters of song or artist she wanted to listen to. Who does that? But we know are learning capabilities are better the younger we are, like a sponge. And I agree with you that has to be from God then to have that amazing tone and the people she is around seem to be God Fearing and definitely protective her that is why God chose her. Some people are getting upset because she seems like she is acting like I know I'm Good Looking, Look at Me! 3 things, 1st they are jelous, 2nd she is a teenager, it's part of getting your identity, she sings about it in 7th Heaven, Love the person Looking Back at You in the Mirror! and 3rd, she is getting into Modeling and she has to take care of yourself and working how you look when photographed. She has Integrity not matched, the 2 Modeling Photos I seen her in, she is Barefoot. Remember she said when ever I perform, "I will do it barefoot", and Modeling is performing. Her Heart, well you know it is out of this World, I believe another gift from God! Well she has raised over $17,000,000 for various charities, and I believe she is a true Ambassador to the World. In these trying times, we need someone like her to bring us back together and the best way is music. Check her "Mary's Boy Child", she was 11, it's audio only, but still worth reacting and listening to, you won't regret it! That's my take and opinions on and from I've witnessed so far, she is he most perfect person living today, more evidence she is a gift from God to us! God Bless!

I must admit, the first time I heard this one, I was too distracted by the sound of her voice (she was / had been sick) to fully appreciate what she was doing. After a few listens, though, it started to sink in. The most important point in the performance, IMO, is not when her voice cracks as she hits the high note midway through, it's in the next verse when she gets high and loud again: it sounds to me like she's not holding back _at all_ . Massive respect to her for that. I don't actually remember the first song I heard from her. I know the first video of hers I gave a "like" to (i.e., clicked the "thumbs-up" icon on) was a video called "Angelina Jordan - sings 7 songs", which shows (almost!) all of her vocal performances that aired on TV during her time in the _Norway's Got Talent_ competition. That might have been the first video of hers I ever saw, in which case the first song I heard her sing would have been her "Gloomy Sunday" audition - or it could have been a second or third video I found after being initially snared by something else. This would have been August 2014, at the earliest. The second video I "liked" soon afterwards was one of the uploads of her "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" performance in the NGT semifinals, which was one of the performances in the other video, of course, but was the one that so impressed me I had to seek out a standalone video for it to "like". (I specifically remember that.)

I Put A Spell On You. Thought it was lipsync and quit listening. IMO, Angelina probably doesn't work hard like a human artist. She does practice some but essentially, I believe that Angelina forms the whole song in her mind and then hits and she then tweaks it a bit and away she goes. I think this happens more often than anyone would believe.

My first song by Angelina was AGT "Bohemian Rhapsody" under the corona spring, it was something different with that girl. I had to check her out and it was like discover a bunch of late christmas presents. For me it is the jazz songs that stands out, there are many jazz singers but angelina has controll over the vibrato and it make me relax in some way. You've made many of my favorites with Angelina and I know one more that I'm pretty sure you would love. It is not so much played but a good way to see her change from the nice 10-year-old girl to a competent jazz singer with passion and back again. @@UNCLEMOMO Prefer the at home version. At the live version she is younger and stuggles a bit with the very hard song to sing. ❤

I really like her age 9 to 12 era. Her pure lower register is lovely. I don't see a playlist of yours for her, so I hope you have not reacted to "Autumn Leaves" (age 10?). So technically brilliant!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmXPYaxpfpepp8U
