ANY SONG that isn't sung by the original singer is a cover unless the music, lyrics or arrangement is changed. Tee, I've said it for a couple of other songs but I'm changing my mind again. I think this is one of Angelina's best to date. We see all aspects of her vocal skills including higher register, lower register, holding back, belting out, emotion and conviction. Interestingly I never was a big fan of this song. It was something that was on in the background but I certainly didn't seek it out. Now, Angelina has taken the crown from Beyoncé with this performance. Not to take anything away from Beyoncé, but she sings the song very smooth and crisp and mostly unemotional. Angelina sings it with passion not only vocally, but also expressing it physically. I strongly believe this is the beginning of something great for the barefoot Queen. Super performance and heartfelt reaction as always.

Hi Tee! This is one heck of a performance by Angelina. I too was expecting to see the one called the Artist version, which actually sounds slightly different. Still, this Piano Diaries version is so beautiful.....the church, the music, the dress, and her vocals. I'm kind of surprised and a bit concerned about a few commenters trying to correct reactors about whether what she is doing is considered a cover or not. Some are doing it to the point of almost being really annoying, which can put off certain reactors from reacting to future Angelina songs. Sad to see but not much one can do. I really love this version of the song by AJ and have listened to it many times. But I must add that the original BC Jean version seems to be the most true to the lyrics among her, Beyonce, and Angelina. BC Jean's bitterness at the break up comes across vividly as she sings the song. Angie's version is easily the most beautiful to listen to and hopefully will get the attention it deserves. I'm looking forward to the release of the other video tonight!
