The metamorphosis of AJ Angelina Jordan's evolution from a child prodigy to a full-grown artist is a testament to her enduring talent and the natural progression of life. On the piano is the co-writer of the song, Toby Gad. Just to let you know, the other co-writer of the song, BC Jean, was the first to sing the song as well as the person the song came from. She had just broken up with the man that she loved. Per Toby, they played it for Beyonce one day and she really wanted to sing and use this song, and the rest you say is history. Angelina and Toby have been working together for a while now and are creating new music for her to sing. They teased a song at a special event called Bad Valentine and it should be coming out within a few months. This collaboration is awesome! The Piano Diaries is Toby's project of other singers singing his most famous songs. Angelina of course is singing this song made famous by Beyonce. Angelina just released the official music video to this song which is called the Artist Version and it sounds different, more commercial and radio ready. You should check it out! Who is Toby Gad? Gad is a German music producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He is known for co-writing songs including John Legend's biggest hit, "All of Me", the fifth-highest certified single in RIAA history, and for co-writing and producing "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie and "If I Were a Boy" by Beyoncé. This cover is glorious, it lets her voice absolutely shine. Thanks to Toby for asking her to sing this reinvented cover of his song for his Piano Diaries album. Toby is quoted saying, “Working with Angelina has been nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to channel profound emotion through her voice adds a whole new depth to the song.” They are also working on other songs for AJ. This will be huge for her. This year will absolutely launch Angelina to the general public. She has arrived.

There was a violinist in the mix but not on camera. Toby is the pianist AND original (co)author of the song. Beyonce's version was a cover, too.

Angelina now owns this one thanks to Toby Gad (on piano) this is how a master class vocalists performs this song, original by BC Jean (co-writer with Toby) , Beyonce did a cover as well which was Ok.... nice to see you on occasions with AJ. As multi Grammy winner, songwriter/musician/producer Toby Gad proclaimed, we are listening to the next mega superstar....he should know. Many folks will have to catch up later... Cheers.

Your 1st guess, Beyonce, was correct, her cover of it in 2008 won a Grammy & yes there is a violin we don't see. . Toby is the Pianist) & he co-wrote the song & produced it for Beyonce. His album "Piano Diaries" is a compilation of his most famous songs he has written or co-written & he is re-imagining them with new up-coming artists like Angelina.

She recently did her first Las Vegas gig and there's videos from audience. Better views and more, are featured in a mini document produced by her Mom...it shows her at 1 1/2yrs old, to her Vegas experience. You can find it on any of her channels, titled "10 Years in the Making - Angelina Jordan". PEACE!
