Her parents are the reason Angelina is as humble and good. I'm sure after the seventh standing ovation, her parents took her home and said: "Angelina, go clean up the mess in your room and finish your homework."

Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Loved your reactions guys!!!

This is a summer concert in Norway, after she won NGT in the spring at the age of 8. I've probably heard this more than 50 times, and I marvel each time. Certainly she has a gift, but we shouldn't forget that by this performance she's been doing this for about six years, and she is incredibly focused and determined. She knows this is what she wants to do with her life, and she is dedicated to that end. So what we get at 8 is a true professional who is very confident in her ability. She was asked during NGT if she was nervous. She said no---I just want to show everyone my talent. So at this very young age she already knew that she was very good, and her dream was to share her talent with the world. That's how you become a superstar---talent, focus, determination, and dedication. That's the definition of Angelina. Oh, and by the way, did I mention that she is kind, humble, generous, and unpretentious. What a role model for young people around the world. Congrats on your one year anniversary and on almost 64K subscribers. You guys must be doing something right. Best wishes.

I love this one. Love her wild long hair and the gobs of flowers. Her mom and dad must have really respected her wishes on keeping long hair and doing her creative thing. I had long pretty hair and before you know it my hair was cut short and permed into hideous ugliness ready for the hell of kindergarten. I was mortified, devastated. My jealous (ugly then) sister grinning at me with glee. Angelina grew up with love, adoration and respect. Kudos mom, dad and grandparents!

Beautiful reaction Stan & Brian and congratulations for the excellent work done with Angelina. When Angelina is so identified with her source of inspiration, she leaves me absolutely amazed ... how is it possible that a little girl (in this case at 8 years old) is so incredibly emotional and talented as a professional singer to completely involve and fascinate the his audience. It's simply fantastic, when she closes her eyes she really seems to be in contact with Dinah Washington. 🤗

Some people are just born with it. When you hear her sing at 6-7 years old, it is very obvious she was born with something special. But it is also a product of having a dream and then putting in a lot of hard work and dedication, a lot of studying great music and artists of the past.. listening very closely for the little things that most people don't even hear, and then understanding where and when to apply those techniques into her own vocals. She is definitely a gift to music, and it is very rewarding to follow her, and watch her journey as she pursues that dream that she has had since she was just a baby.

I have the feeling that this young girl is a revolution or a small miracle. Like Mozart. His perfect voice comes directly from his simple and pure soul, strong and bright like the stars in the sky. She doesn't make an effort because she was born like that. She simply sings as the stars shine. Experts can analyze his voice, but that won't change anything. The most wonderful thing is that she has very little ego and knows how to remain innocent and so sensitive and compassionate. This girl is a wonderful gift and listening to her sing is endless joy

Angelina also at the age of 8 (She is 16 or 17 now) was able to rewrite the arrangement for her songs and did so even at 8. Clearly God has blessed her with talent way beyond her years, give a listen to her rendition of Elvis Presley's Are You Lonesome Tonight. I am 66 and had tears in my eyes as she sand the song. It is as though she feels every word of the song so as to assume at age 8 she had already lived it!!! I consider her a miracle!!!

Thank you for reacting to Angelina again. This is one of my favourites from Angelina. I have translated the introduction from Norwegian to English: H: Host A: Angelina H: But are you ready to sing for us now? A: Yes i'm so excited /I'm looking forward to it. H. Ohhh! , If you are excited /looking forward to this Angelina, then you should know how much we are looking forward to hear you sing/ how much we are excited to hear you. Here she is, with the song : "What a difference a day makes". Yeah Angelina is special and unique and has the ability to touch our souls again and again AND again!😊

This is an event that is held yearly in Halden, Norway close to the border of Sweden. The event is called “Singing At The Border” and it features local and international artists. The attendees are given the lyrics sheets and are encouraged to sing along. I was lucky to be at that event and I can tell you that she sounded amazing and was definitely the crowd favourite. Thank you for your reaction and keep up the good work.

I feel ya on how amazing it is that she has talented people decades older than her backing her up. I feel the same way about Derek Trucks who started opening up and playing with the Allman Brothers at age 11. As a parent it's like when you know you should just skip the schools talent show and start the paid gigs.

Could you imagine what Angelina was thinking at 8 years old when the people were crying or emotional or giving her a standing ovation come on now she had to know at 8 that she was good and yet her mannerisms and the way she carries herself you can tell that she is truly a decent human from the start I will never quit listening to her and I do that every day

@@elisabethpedersen7893 The experts would agree with you. "Farsi, which is the Persian word for the Persian language, has also been used widely in English in recent decades, more commonly to refer to the standard Persian of Iran. However, the name Persian is still more widely used. The Academy of Persian Language and Literature has called for avoiding the use of the endonym Farsi in foreign languages and has maintained that Persian is the appropriate designation of the language in English, as it has the longer tradition in western languages and better expresses the role of the language as a mark of cultural and national continuity.[31] Eminent Iranian historian and linguist Ehsan Yarshater, founder of Encyclopædia Iranica and the Center for Iranian Studies at Columbia University, mentions the same concern in an academic journal on Iranology, rejecting the use of Farsi in foreign languages.[32] "

What is talent? One definition of talent is "the rate at which someone gets better with effort". AJ definitely has a great talent by that definition, doing what she does at this young age. But, what is "better"? I guess that depends what you like in an artist. Some listeners are only interested in the artists technical ability. The fastest metal guitar player or the vocalist with the largest vocal range or the hardest wail is the best. Some listeners (like me) likes to be affected. I think CA, Maria Carey and Whitney Houston are all great technicians but very one dimensional. I can see them, hear them, but I can not feel them. AJ has a great capability to communicate her feelings to the listener. It gets three dimensional. She also plays a fantastic instrument (her vocal cords). On the technical side, she actually is outstanding. Not by belting, wailing or other circus acts. In many of her songs, it's more subtle, with extremely controlled glissandos and portamentos, small volume changes, chest/head/mix voice magic, timbre/tone changes, pauses and more. Down to a sub-syllable level. In a way I never had heard before, I think.

I can only nod vigorously in agreeance with you. I'm rather pleased that you are able to identify the technical vocabulary of what I'm hearing and feeling when Angelina sings. Surely the old masters are rejoicing up there in 'music heaven' when their songs are revived by Angelina. 😇

Another great reaction from you two. You really crack me up. I have a video request I believe you will find fascinating. It's Angelina laying down the studio track for I'm A Fool To Want You for her 2018 album "It's Magic." That's the same song she sang a capella as a 7 yo in NGT. The video is a cell phone recording by her Mom that had poor audio. Rusty Shackelford, one of Angelina's Super "Angels," fixed that by dubbing the audio from the album to the video. This is my absolute favorite video from Angelina. Not only is the song amazing to hear, but you get to see Angelina going back & forth between a sultry 30 yo bar-singer during the singing parts & an 11 yo girl signaling Mom & Grandma in the studio with her, during the non-singing parts. It is amazing & will make an epic reaction. Here is the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXjbYZegjbmLh80
