That’s Russian domestic scoring for you. Always has been, it’s gotten worse as judging has become hasher post 2017 and it won’t change🤣

@@gymnastsinspire3724 completely incorrect. Melka scored a 14.9 on beam today. No scoring in the US is that crazy. I’m English so no bias here. It also definitely did not get better post 2017, if you look back at scores especially 2015/2016 they aren’t awfully crazy in comparison. It is common, factual, knowledge that Russia has THE worst domestic scoring, there’s simply no arguing it

even lower really. I'd say like 13.6-13.8 given the really low landings on her first two passes. She also dropped her heel on her last triple turn. Idk if international judges would deduct or also downgrade the turn.

I don't know if the judges don't see how low her first 3 landings are, the fact she fell from her first L turn or what. I kinda stopped following gym after 2018 so I don't get this code of points but this seems overscored

@@colesmith7509 idk if you guys are new to russian gymnastics or not but ALL domestic competitions are inflated across the world, but none compare to Russia. It’s a shame bc it’s actually gotten worse as judging overall has become harsher. I say this: if you’re looking at russian champ/cup scores, take off at least 0.5 before thinking about it🤣🤣
