This is a true story..I was there with my wife during the graduation of our daughter. He was one of the graduates and I believe the footage was the actual one. He was wearing the traditional aeta costume..By the way he graduated from the University of the Philippine...one of the state owned universities of the Philippines.

The Guy who played Norman King was Norman King himself. He is an Aeta from a remote village in northern Luzon. Aetas is one of the indigenous tribes in the Philippines. He is the first one from their community who finished college and earned a degree. A truly inspiring true story of a person overcoming challenges through perseverance and determination. He serves as an inspiration to younger generation in their community. And most of them now was in High School.

best reactors. not because you say what we wanna hear. but because you pay close attention to what you are watching. unlike other reactors who just talk & talk & “perform” in front of the camera, for the attention they wanna get from the viewers. you ladies are great because you give sincere reactions to videos you watch. kudos to you ladies!

Always LOVE your reactions. Filipinos are like being in Times Square, Manhattan (the crossroads of the world): our ancestors were of polynesian, chinese, spanish, american, arab, malays, indian, the aetas and other indegenous people in our small but multi-cultural country. Hundreds of years under colonial Spain made us shameful of being dark-skinned_ but we are now slowly coming out of that terrible shell and appreciating the different colors around us. Thank you, ladies.

AETAS are one of the ORIGINAL TRIBES that lived in the Philippines...even before the shifting of the tectonic plates and volcano erruptions that divided many vast lands. Experts, Scientists and Historians say that they are the AFRICANS of SOUTHEAST ASIA or EVEN WHOLE OF ASIA. Proud to have them and their culture makes our country TRULY RICH. God Bless to you both for this reaction video.

Aetas are the aborigines, or the first people to live in the Philippines, long before people from other lands (such as Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Japan, Spaniards, etc., ) arrived and lived in the archipelagic Philippines. There still are Aetas and most of them live in the mountains because they somewhat looked down on and do not see themselves as fit in the society simply because of their very different physical attributes; they are very dark, very short and have broad nose.

I'm from Zambales where Norman comes from, it's very rare to see an aeta finishing their school, last week there's a grade 7 aeta who suddenly leave the school and her father came on our school to say that his 12 years old daughter was about to get married, and it's legal because it is part of their culture, their parents don't care about education, they need to survive and that's more important
