I'm 79 and this darling young Lady has gone into my book of favorite singers. I've tried to keep up with her sense I first saw her sing Fly Me To the Moon at age 7. I was in absolute awe. She has her own way of taking a song and making hers. She sings from the very depths of her heart and soul. I just pray she can handle all the fame and can stay grounded. @@beverlyp480 So far so good. Those around her, family, musicians, maybe shouldn't or wouldn't have done so well helping her become her. Seems she brings the best out in people. People seem to be there for her. Her family must be incredibly wise and strong. Kid's don't just get great alone. Even if they were to start that way we would muck it up generally. But with her, I don't know, there she is. I think it's a fair and obvious concern, but this video is under her 'professional' label. Making it apparent the sweet thought was best served a few years ago. IMO the writing is on the wall, we should be less concerned today than yesterday for kids coming up in this business with their platforms, fans and leverage, and we should be less concerned about her than most. Still an always relevant and understandable worry. Even if we know they didn't sign to rush out an album, and had talked about looking for creative control and lack of obligation from labels. That should tell us they had no reason to cave much, or they'd still be waiting since they are in no hurry, and likely got a lot of what they wanted. It's none of our business, likely we'll never know, but everything before and since signing suggests she has plenty of control if you think about it. I'd assume at worst she gave up too much money for a solid chance at a faster start when she says go. Their actions and what her and her family have said would suggest a short contract in obligation, and as much creative control as possible. I don't trust them, but Rob Christie so far, in words and actions we get to see, has been so far so good as well. A sharp patient kid with a sharp patient family, a musicality like that, seems everyone has just been there to help as best they can so far and try their best for her, seems she has that effect on people.

Plus of course leverage and patience, it's a confidence and strength right. Harder to control and take advantage of someone like that, harder to want too, even for greedy rich folk. Technically making some money off her is better than not if that's what it comes down too, and everyone in music seems so sure of her. It would just be something to want to be a part of for some who love music still in that business. I don't know, like I said we don't get to know. But that's my rationalization of what we've seen and I hope you feel better about it. It feels mutually beneficial for some reason to me. At least more so than your normal kid putting out their first big label album.

Some very young like Angelina and some older. I watched a young Haley Reinhart on American Idol years back and thought, Wow! no one sings better and in so many different genres as she does. Then I heard Courtney Hadwin who everyone thought was the greatest new rock n roller until she showed how diverse she was singing other genres to perfection in her own unique way. Along came Diana, daneliya and a number of others. They are all something to behold. It all just depends what your into or for those who appreciate more than one style, the mood you are in.

There are thousands of operatically trained singers who could sing him around the block. After watching Britney Spears and all of her problems in the news, I have even more respect for Angelina's parents and grandparents. They never ever sexualized her. They focused on her talent as opposed to her body, and they allowed her to attend school and have a relatively normal childhood. This was an awesome music video. I just can’t believe the fact she’s ONLY 15, she sounds like a vocal beast already. She has such a unique sound, originality, so much soul and great musicality. Don’t get me started on her singing skills, she really has everything a singer wants to have, good control, great pitch, flawless belting, agility, smooth vibrato and an attractive tone which I think is very similar to Amy Winehouse and the legend Judy Garland, and she’s 15, I can’t even imagine what will happen when she’s in her 20s! Her voice and style is not THAT unique actually. She is well within the genre of Billie and Amy Winehouse, whose discipline is well defined over a few decades. Of course she has her own timbre, tone but it's not like that she'd never be mistaken with an artist within the same genre.
