The hand waving the vocalist does at 3:15 reminds of the Black Dahlia Documentary when Brian mentions how Trevor would cast spells with his hands while performing and all I could think about was how such a subtle thing such as waving your fingers could evoke so much connection to a vocalist and channeling their style of performance

The first time I listened to Funeral Thirst I couldn't stand the sound of it. Years passed by, Black Dahlia grew fondly in my heart and became my favourite band, being this song the one I love the more, and Trevor, the one who inspired me with his energy and lyrics to get into the world of metal vocals. Love the subtle changes behind the solo, super cool cover guys!! Dahlia is my favorite, has been since Unhallowed, and this is by far the sickest cover of probably their most memorable song.
