Synopsis:::
Prashant leaves home because of his differences with his father to build a carrier as a singer. He comes to a city and starts working as Haron, a driver in the house of beautiful Suchoriata and at the same time as a budding singer Abhijit. Abhijit, starts singing on radio and soon he becomes a popular singer, suchorita falls in love with the voice of Abhijit and then with the singer himself. The story reaches its climax when Abhijit decides to sing on stage for the first time to arrange funds for the operation of his ailing friend, Sukanto, a poet. Suchorita arranges the ticket to have a glimpse of her heart-throb and realises that the same person works as her driver. She gets shattered emotionally realising that she failed to recognise his man she loves so deeply. Things takes unexpected turn when Prashant's alias Abhijit's father comes to his friends place who was none other than suchorita's uncle. The story ends on a happy note with the union off Prashant and Suchorita.

What an iconic father-son encounter! Electrifying Kamal Mitra as father n assertive Uttam Kumar as son. In those days of changing values n choices, such encounters used to be a regular feature in every household, rich or poor. I find this scene so relatable n absolutely unforgettable.. enjoyed it multiple times..it still gives me goosebumps.

80's, 90's এর সিনেমায় হিরো যখন তার বাবার সাথে ঝগড়া করে বাড়ি ছেড়ে চলে যেতে যায় তখন তার মা ছেলেকে বলে "যাস না বাবু যাস না" তারপর মা বাবাকে বলে "ওগো তুমি ওকে যেতে দিও না।" এর পরিবর্তে বাবা বলে "যেতে দাও ওকে,যখন বাইরের দুনিয়ায় কঠিন বাস্তবতা দেখবে ও নিজেই ফিরে আসবে।" সিনেমায় কিন্তু বাবাকে ওই পরিস্থিতিতে ভিলেন হিসাবে দেখানো হয় কিন্তু বিশ্বাস করো বাবা একদম ঠিক।
