Dude this album, the Sekret Machines EP, and his Too the Stars, Demos, and Odds and Ends.... are better, song for song, than anyhing Blink-182 has put out without Tom. And I love Matt Skiba and Mark and Travis and love all the music they've made. That being said, it seems Tom has grown the most as a songwriter over the past 10 years where as Mark needed to bring in as much outside writers and at leas thalf of the songs suck lyrically.

And that is actually a very unique skill. To write those songs. There's a Fall Out Boy lyric "the songs you grow to like, never stick at first." Ironically, songs you are indifferent to in the beginning, are the ones you get into and have MASSIVE staying power. For years. Almost every listen you hear something new. Yet the songs you instantly like, are often, the forgettable ones that don't have any lasting power and fade quickly.

Been a hardcore fan of this band since day 1. Favorite band of all time and I can honestly say, I think this album is the most diverse piece of art they have produced. Every song is so different. They are pushing the boundaries of what they can be artistically while keeping the same structure and message I fell in love with. This album is going to be fantastic. Unlike most hardcore fans I love seeing Tom take steps outside of what he's comfortable with. It's going to make for some amazing music. There's only been one song out of this album I haven't cared for too much. The rest have been a beautiful journey.
