I genuinely think Tom Delonge is one of the most underrated songwriters of a generation. I can gladly listen to every Angels & Airwaves album back to back with no tracks skipped. There are so many gems throughout their song bank that their discography glistens. It's my workout music, it's my "yell in the shower" music, etc. It's just so damn good for me.

When I was going through a very difficult time in my life this band helped me so much. WDNTW was very soothing, feel good and deep. When I-empire came out that album was very therapeutic for me. Angels and Airwaves will be one of my favorites forever along with Blink.

Listen to Tom and Travis’ Boxcar Racer Album!! Very dark and serious. It was recorded during the blink 182 days- it contains 2/3 of the blink members (even all three on one song) and David Kennedy who later played guitar for Angels and Airwaves after Blink broke up. Many will say that in a lot of ways Boxcar Racer was the true birth of Angels and Airwaves and Tom said it had a lot to do with why Blink broke up in the first place

I discovered AVA about 11 years ago and fell in love with their sound. I’m a big U2 fan, so Angels appealed to me in a cool way. I enjoy most of their catalog. I totally understand why you like them, too. 👍🏻

The side project from Mark (Other vocalist in Blink) is also more dark and more heavy lyrics. Its called +44 - When Your Heart Stops Beating. Also, You should check out Blink182's ''Neighborhoods''. It has elements from Angels And Airwaves and +44. Blink pre 2003 is a fun party band, After 2003 they got quite experimental until Tom left the band AGAIN.

He listened to them and like minor threat you can tell.. Minor threat is what most skate punks started off. Minor threat was a huge skate punk band

If you REALLY want to take your subs on a journey do the entire LOVE album by Angels and Airwaves. Tom Delonge and the team he's assembled is actually quite incredible. I'm not a Blink 182 fan at all. Ifind it contrite and fantastically boring. With Angels and Airwaves singles are not the correct experience, it's the entire album.
