The Gryphone adapted to JJ's playstyle so well in the end! Was a real pleasure to see him adapting and getting better to the point when he was basically steam rolling his opponent despite being rolled initially.

it was definitely beautiful to watch. im not going to lie at one point i thought it was over because the lead was crazy and the move set of the JJ character was too diverse imo. I honestly feel like the game was decided by momentum. once the Gryphon broke JJ's momentum it was practically over.

@@DeyCallMeTEEZY95 Well, it seems it really was a matter or adapting. JJ didn't feel the need to change so he just stuck to his initial strategy which became his downfall when the Gryphone actually started changing his playstyle. You can even kinda see JJ panicking in the last rounds.

This was really painful to watch as a JJ main, this guy is a living meme, he doesn't parry, when he misses the kick, he gives the light anyway, he's vulnerable to GB because everytime he is dodging for nothing. This is a tough fight because of the match, but JJ has so much potential in the moveset, it's really sad to see that he only knows how to dodge

I am surprised how well he performed with gryph, but i would not say its bad. Its a 50/50 machine, he did good guesses and reads. Im pretty sure there would be no way he would beat this jj with the same amount of skill as jorm for example. He just proved that gryph is not that bad 1v1

Lmao to see him counter the sifu stance and lot of the JJ kicks most likely has to do with adapting. The lights are perfectly timed to interrupt attacks and movements. There's not much gryphon can do against JJ anyway.
