He is so amazing. I've been going through a break up and it's been very hard. The last number of months. Listening to his different programs on anger on retaining value on break ups on being a Queen. All that has helped me immensely. I love how extra smart he is and in sight full and eloquent. And I am a mid age white woman therapist but he is magnificent. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for all the content you provide on this website.

Anger does not come from the Lord so we must be cautious how we speak to others as Colossians 4:5 says “ let your words be gracious seasoned with salt so that you ought to know how to answer each person” amen 🙏🏾

I know this first hand. I have gotten so angry and out of control more than a few times in my life. It's not a true representation of who I am, however, when I have allowed my anger to seethe and explode because of what someone else has done or said to me, it's nothing nice or right. God's word is right and do know that anger is very dangerous. My daughter and I have discussed this at length that getting a hold of anger is so important. I've learned and I continue to learn that my anger must be controlled because I don't want to become a casualty because I didn't exhibit self control over my anger. My true self is not an angry person, it's only when I feel I've been taken advantage of that the volcano of anger erupts. I am learning to ignore and move on when it's time before I get to a point of such anger.

You are aware and you are owning it. That's a great part of learning and growing. You are not limited. I know it's hard. But sometimes just walking away and taking yourself out of that environment is best. They are not worth your health, character or letting them control you. Just stay ware of what pushes your button and avoid if possible. Many blessings 🙏 ❤

I was watching your video today, I can better understand now why my dad is so toxic. He was angry with his mum. She was so lost and desperate because of what my grandad put her through, she couldn't take care of him. When you're angry with your mum, you cannot love your wife and kids either. He's been so selfish his whole life and now that he is old and sick, he's trying to get in touch with us. Hard to go to him and talk. Really hard! Just realised I am still angry too. I need to work on that. Thanks Pastor Blakes and be blessed!

Yes, really needed this word today! Looking into one's self to see where the problem is instead of directing it outwardly. There are things I can change and things I cannot. It sometimes gets too easy to wallow in anger, self pity and tears. These videos help lift me out of that negative status. Thank you for being here today! ❤

My son gets angry a lot. His father passed away when he was 13. He's 23 now. We talk about it but it's like he has to get revenge on everyone that does him wrong. I don't understand it, neither his dad or I am like that. He has so much potential, I just pray he finds it before it's too late. 🙏❤🙏❤

Try to remember that hurt people, hurt others. It is a sad chain of events. I find that I take others anger less personally remembering that they are hurting. Maybe do not ask why he is trying to hurt you.....maybe ask, what is hurting my child so badly to create such rage inside of them. I of course do not know your story, nor his, but when my children are angry inside, I start inquiring to the root of their pain. Anger at its source is most usually some form of pain. Prayers for you ladies and your children and your homes. I hope you all find Peace.
@erikamonihen88733 жыл бұрын
@@ForGoodnesSake My daughters fathers father killed himself when he was very young. He is in his early 30s now and he is just now recognizing that pain after years of abusive behavior and years of extroverted rage. It effected our family dynamic and I ended up leaving. I still try to be his friend because I know I am the only person he allows access to his heart in that way. And I wany him to be healed of it. He said his heart is contaminated with questions that will never have the answers to because only his father could give him what he feels he needed and still needs. His mother never put him into therapy and the family did not discuss it with him so he was forced to grow as a man holding all of that pain inside. The pain from that effects how he is as a father, sometimes for better, and sometimes for worse. He needs therapy to process all of that pain and heal his heart. I hope he someday gets that help. And I hope the same for your child.

I’ve been dealing with years of narcissistic abuse. They are such angry people. They are ticking bombs. I can’t even think in my mind what is wrong with these people. Pastor I’ve tried to get him to leave me alone and he continues to just harass and cause harm to my life and I went no contact. I keep asking myself with a pure heart like I have how could I have got involved with such an unstable and angry being. I remember growing up my dad was a hot head and it makes me want to run from any man who can’t control his anger. My father use to jerk me up in times of rage and in his drunk moments and it was so ugly in our household. He was always abusive to my mother and I growing up. We all walked around the house on egg shells until he walked out and left our family eventually. I remember growing up telling my mother I would never be with a man who had no control over their anger. It’s very childish. Kids throw fits when they don’t get their way. I have been working on my healing so I can attract a man who has a good godly character. It’s something about a man who is calm in situations that should make somebody upset. A man that is patient with his woman and kind even when he may disagree. A person that can sit down and communicate issues like an adult. Your videos always bring so much healing and make me seek God in these areas. My heart is trying to truly heal. If anybody should be angry it should be me for the years of abuse, and it seems I keep my kind and loving heart. I won’t let another person take that from me. I will continue to heal and take the higher road. Thanks Pastor
