Hi Kids! Have you ever felt so angry that you wanted to yell or stomp your feet? It’s okay to feel angry sometimes-it’s a normal emotion, just like being happy or sad. But when anger gets too big or out of control, it can cause problems for us and others.
Anger can hurt our relationships with friends and family. When we yell, say mean things, or act out because we’re angry, we might hurt someone’s feelings. That can make it hard to stay close to the people we care about.
Did you know anger can also make your body feel bad? When you're angry, your heart beats faster, your muscles tighten, and you might feel hot or shaky. Staying angry for too long can make you tired or even sick over time.
The good news is, we can learn to calm down and deal with anger in healthy ways! Try taking deep breaths, counting to 10, or walking away to cool off. Talking to a parent, teacher, or friend about your feelings can help too.
Remember, it's okay to feel angry, but how we handle it makes all the difference. Let’s choose kindness and calmness instead of letting anger take over! 💛
