Angh are not people appointed head,one should ask only to God how the Angh institution came into being.Neither it was established by the Konyaks.So these institution will remain however we become advance or civilised.

Just curious What if the Angh have no male siblings or no sons and only daughters. Who will inherit his throne?
@lokyanh3 ай бұрын
In Konyak society, if an Angh (chief) has no male siblings or sons and only daughters, the succession usually goes to a close male relative from the paternal lineage, such as a nephew. The "paternal lineage" refers to the family line traced through the father's side, including male ancestors and descendants like the father, grandfather, son, and grandson. In some cases, the village elders and council might adopt or appoint a new Angh from within the clan. Each village's customs may vary, and such decisions often require community consensus.

No better things can replace our heritage. This is us and we have to preserve it and implement into our modern world.
@Mrde4883 ай бұрын
Aren't you happy to be Naga? Are you not proud of your forefathers and pass on the tradition to the coming generations or you are you on a Mission to wipe out naga tradition and replace with foreign culture. What do we tell our younger generation if we have your mentality. I pity us for risky our identity at the cost western culture.
@haklung72293 ай бұрын
In one way, it's better that we should preserve our culture too, Half of the Nagas culture has vanished by the western culture .
