The 'Farewell' part of this soundtrack always does a number on me, it's like at this part of the stage, after suffering through merciless levels for countless screens, the game seems to finally start to cheer you on as you get closer to the resolution, I just can't, I always get transported to some other dimension briefly when that part comes on.

My god this entire OST is so gorgeous. It's so beautiful man. I have no idea how this is so amazing and so fitting with the atmosphere. Every part of this soundtrack just feels so immersive. Jesus Christ dude.

it is a common theory that in the celeste ost, instruments represent characters (for example, madeline is piano and theo is acoustic guitar, as shown in the song madeline and theo). synth represents badeline, while violin represents granny and/or the bird. therefore, 31:14 is ACTUALLY PERFECT. with both baddy and the bird helping madeline out in the finale of this chapter, having both their instruments play the same melody is just YES, especially since that melody is recurring in this chapter's soundtrack as it most likely represents granny. AND THEN 32:55 WITH MADELINE'S THEME! AND THEN 33:25 WITH THE VIOLIN PLAYING MADELINE'S THEME, WITH THE SYNTH HESITANTLY PLAYING ALONG!!! i love celeste soundtrack so much

I just recently made the decision to finally pick up celeste and dare myself to finish this chapter. I'm still amazed by this soundtrack and the message it conveyed. Goodbyes aren't supposed to be easy. They aren't quick. They are tedious and eat at your determination. But they are necessary. For yourself. Celeste is a masterpiece, considering that this rather "small" game tells us about our inner demons and determination.

@@NateMillerErhu Yeah, it's a set of modded maps made by Monika (can find it on gamebanana). Adds D sides to all the chapters. 9D is... a monolith of difficulty, is a good way to put it. I beat Chapter 9 on my first playthrough in 6 hours or so, and 9D took me 128 hours and 46.5k deaths :P. The screen Endy is talking about took me 20 hours and 6.5k~ deaths alone, which makes me very glad that the soundtrack for this game is such a banger.

I'd recommend being comfortable skipping some screens if you ever decide to try it (and to do the other D sides first), there are a few with almost-RNG mechanics or shit like oshiro bouncing and jellyfish in wind that I personally don't like, but of the 335 screens in the level I thoroughly enjoyed like 320 of them so it's not all bad lol.

ps4 minecraft is bad, if the console is powered off while you are in a world the world file gets corrupted, i live in an area where light posts fall every week. the lights went off while i was playing in that world and when the problem was fixed, 1 day later, i realised that my world file was corrupted.
