I know why he says h'e's a kid a lot. He lost part of his childhood when his step pops got murdered and he dropped out of the 8th grade never went to high school. So part of his whole childhood adolescent life is missing his teen years which he never spent like the average teenager. So psychologically in the long run it damages the psyche or delays the psyche where he refers to himself as i'm just a kid still, at the age of 22 n growing.
