You took a great deal of time in explaining the process of each step to the end. You’ve inspired me to try this.

Thanks for the tutorial, I just made a deacon stole for a friend being ordained soon. I made it Green pieces from my scraps. It's quilted and now sewing the binding by hand. Thanks for the tip about a label.

Thanks so much for sharing. I have always wanted to make a stole for our priest but have been daunted by the prospect. You made it seem easy enough that I could give it a try.

You should definitely give it a try. They really are easy to make and are a fun way to use up all kinds of scraps. It's also a good opportunity to try out new techniques without having to commit to a large project. Let the creativity flow! :)

Thank you Angie. Your method using narrow binding will work beautifully for a stole that I am ready to assemble. It has a large machine embroidered motif that could rumple and not recover during the stitch and turn method.

Do you have a video on how to make a stole for a deacon?

I'm sorry, no. Only this one.

What were the final dimensions on this? I ask because I just want to estimate where to start/
@AngiePadilla3 жыл бұрын
I do mention it in the video. My usual standard is 4" x 50" long, but I might lengthen for a tall person or shorten accordingly
