I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzbin.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

I would highly suggest a guard, that is not an optional attachment in my opinion.

The elevation sounds like a good way to get yourself hurt. No guard. Most angle grinder wounds I’ve seen happened because of a lack of guard.

Like it says at the description. If you use the drill attachment ALWAYS use a variable speed grinder. One that can go down to 500rpm and then up. One without that feature can shoot to 11000+ if corded. You will get that drill bit flying in no time. Only do if you have a variable speed one. Or buy a cheap drill.

I would never use an angle grinder as a right angle drill for more than very small OD bits needing the RPM, but chuck conversions turn them into terrific right angle DIE grinders to hold shanked flap discs, stones and burrs. I just drill and tap a standard steel drill chuck using my lathe. You can have your local machine shop do that if you're unable.

Always apply safety procedure before work... Remember grinder is most dangerous hand power tools... If guard off in this machine sure you have already more than 90% you will accident.. Make an alternative guard for replacing to original one while you use another attachment....

CAR POLISHER ATTACHMENT IS A NO..NO..!!UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ANGLE GRINDER WITH RPM CONTROL...YOU DONT POLISH WITH 11000RPM...EVEN THESE ANGLE GRINDERS WITH ELECTRONIC RPM CONTROL ....THE LOWEST SETTING IS AROUND 2700-3000....WAY TOO HIGH...MAX POLISHING SPEED IS AROUND 2000....ITS BETTER TO DO IT LIKE A PYRAMID..YOU START AT AROUND 700 RPM SLOWLY ALL THE WAY UP TO 1700-2000 AND THEN DOWN TO GET THE JOB DONE..!!I AM NOT A PRO SO EVERY OPINION IS APPRECIATED!!!

these attachments should be used on a grinder with speed control. check rpm rating on Velcro pad,must be above 10,000 .can still explode if to much pressure is applied. please wear a complete face shield at the very least if you are going to use any modified tool. please keep safe.
