For better strength, the coped section should be cut so it is resting on top of the straight section.

Hello - what amperage are you set at and what electrode are you using? Thanks.

I forgot what setting of amperage I set to this weld. The base metal is 3mm in thickness maybe a 100 + amperage. For electrode, I used an electrode 6013.
