My favorite sauce for fresh water fish is similarly based but much simpler...ha ha. 2 parts mayo or miracle whip to 1 part mustard, whip and its ready. I like it so much better than all the fancy smancy fish sauces I have at the cafe, and excellent with both baked and fried fish, even catfish. I am sure yours is great cause it uses the same base as mine! Yum.

Also had my son with me every day, we just hung out about waste deep chasing fish. 7' rods, no need to cast long, nice lightweight rods , just carry a divers bag or metal stringer. Paper rock scissors for who walks them to the cooler, lol

Any white schooling bait lure was working awesome all week, if u got down to just 1 jig/lure, it decreased the bite substantially.....u can catch hundreds of ladys and mackerel plus the the bluefish and blue runners were mixed in....Perdido key/pensacola. Used a 40lb mono leader and didn't slow the bite a bit

Lived in Central Fl ( Volusia and Lake counties) 20 years and always used my 2 spinner rods for surf casting and still do 25 years later in Jersey LOL. I've had both for decades, a Mitchell 308 and Mitchell 389, both on 6'6 rods. I use 40lb braid on both. Dig the vids and been watching a couple years now.

Ladyfish are fun but no other fish I've ever caught is as slimy. Caught dozens one time and had to throw away my shirt and towel at the ramp and took considerably longer to clean my canoe. That's why I love it when they self release🙂.

Yo man I know you use them too but the treble hooks that come on the gotcha jigs are absolute trash. I caught a few spanish yesterday but I had to change the hook out because even a decent lady fish will straighten the hook. Also, stopped by beach bum outdoors, pretty cool spot, glad ya’ll are doin well

Looks more like a tartar sauce than a hollandaise sauce. Tartar sauce is made with mayo and hollandaise sauce is made with eggs.
