awesome video, i would say your 15lb test would be on the heavy end of line for catching these small fish. 8-10 lb would be plenty also

The heavier line is because of the Snooks teeth. You could definitely catch them on 8lb but you would have to hook them perfectly in the corner of the moth or else you would break off because of the Snooks ability to fray your line.

I’m a local guide in that area if you ever want to go out. I know where the big snook cruise the beach. Definitely my favorite way to target them.

Brad: How long can you keep a bait fish out of the water before it suffocates? I've noticed that you walk quite a ways with that bait fish dangling from the end of the rod (and out of the water) before you cast him out.

That was actually the Gulf that first Snook came from? Very interesting coastline. Lived down there when I was kid but we only really bass fished the lakes.

Are in the Sarasota Bradenton area? I grew up in Pensacola but moved to Bradenton and I love it! Some of the absolute best fishing areas are in Sarasota/Bradenton
