I have a top tip from co-op's, sometimes I do rail work and being on standby involves parking a bus up in very remote locations, I buy the minced beef hotpot and the veg, the veg is fresh broccoli peas Leeks and green beans, the hot pot and separate veg are meant to be microwaved but I use my camping stove to heat the hotpot and a small pot with a little water to steam the veg, lovely meal as you get the minced beef with gravy and potatoes plus the steamed veg. Love the films that you make, all the best, Graham.

I've got a stainless steel gadget that my eldest granddaughter gave me from a Christmas cracker. It has a bottle opener, corkscrew and knife blade and is shaped like a key and indeed is a keyring. The knife has a wicked point and I spear the sauce pouch in the middle and then fold. You get all the sauce out easier than from cutting a corner and it's less messy. Incidentally I can see you don't have anymore trouble than I do with washing your hair Ken. I guess yours , like mine, gets washed every time you wash your face. Beautiful colours in the spoil heaps surrounding that copper mine. The aerial footage really shows it off. 👍

Recently from eBay I bought a mix of those ..brown and red sauce ..mayonnaise salad cream tarta sauce ..vinegar I’m sure barbecue sauce ….just got them for a fun thing I do sometimes . I thought would those be an idea to have in the camper van .hardly and storage needed and easily opened in the van with scissors .. It would give you a nice choice of sauces . Maybe a little expensive but to save space maybe worth it …. I paid £7.99 for 50 sachets …. If you fancy it put 8n the search ………. Heinz single potion sauce sachets ….you can buy different amounts …and.individual amounts of each kind …I got what’s called the pick and mix

Thank you both for another lovely film. I’m waiting for my new conversion due around October, so am grateful for all the tips in the meantime. I noticed you don’t use a table, did your van come with one, or did you decide it was easier without?
@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
We bought one but never use it. We find trays are multipurpose and take up very little room. Our table stores in the boot so by not taking it we can utilise that space for other things 👍

Crush all your air out of your bottles and screw the lids back on tight it saves space for more rubbish and helps bin collectors 🙂

Really interesting video! I've spent many holidays on Anglesey, going back to my childhood, but we've not taken the van down there since getting it last year. Will have to put that right very soon! Did you note the height restriction on the car park? Thought I saw 7ft 6 but can't be sure! Thanks & all the best👍👍
@LifeistooshortCK3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Des. Yes the height restriction at Parys Mountain car park is 2.3m 7ft 6ins.

@@LifeistooshortCK I will still probably take a sharp intake of breath! 😁 But that will do nicely! Thanks for the reply👍

Even if it’s too tight you could always park opposite the entrance. Saw plenty doing that 👍

They should have a hole puncher on the table for the packets of sauce. Or buy yourself a small Swiss army knife with a pair of scissors.
