Twice you say Norman the Conqueror. You mean WILLIAM!
@jean-pierredevent970 Жыл бұрын
There is a hard,merciless element in Anglo Saxon "high" society that we don't have in The Netherlands, Belgium and perhaps even France. This trait is also found in America of course. I wonder if that is something going back to this old heritage of conquering and defending all the time.

WHIS are YOUR SOURCEs FOR THE CHARACTERISTICS OF CELTIC PEOPLE BRITONS, DRUIDS and other claims ?
@dr.lexwinter86044 жыл бұрын
The only source we have on Druids is that they were all massacred by Julius Caesar and were animalistic people who you couldn't make treaties with, they were short, brown skinned, with brown hair and brown eyes like eastern Europeans. And they were very, very extinct when he was done with them.

How the Anglo-Saxon England finished (1066)?
@dr.lexwinter86044 жыл бұрын
It didn't. Two of the four lines of my family were granted land in the Domesday book after their contribution to the 1066 invasion, and yet my DNA test yielded that I was predominantly Anglo-Saxon even though my ancestors were all norse invaders. I suspect my viking ancestors liked banging those homely sheep herder womenfolk. I'm ... telling this to a mestizo with 'Futbolera' in his username.

It seems you forgot the Frisians from the nearby Netherlands
@saxoncodex97363 жыл бұрын
It's very possible that the Frisians never invaded in any numbers. So you ask why is the language so close to theirs, well what appears to be emerging is, they were the main traders. So they were going in and out of all the different places, and it is their language that was used :-) Well that is the basic, it needs some work, but certainly there appears, to be little evidence of the Frisians invading, but we need to square the language aspect.

Druid tribe? Some slack research here. Keltoi therefore celt, It is never a soft 'c'. In Welsh all 'c's are hard.
@1984potionlover2 жыл бұрын
Yes, a little worried about the rest of the content...what's in a name? A "kelt" by any other name could never smell so sweet ;) and yes, I know it is spelled with a "c". I will watch it all though as I myself am far from perfect, and have not done any educational content for the web...

Were Celts and Gaels before Romans or after?

Before

"Sometimes it was the Christian god, sometimes it was random gods." No. No. No. Random gods. What's wrong with you lad? Wotan. Odin. Wotan was the god of the Anglo-Saxons before--like all Germanic peoples--they were forced to convert to the Jew god at spear point. Many chose not to and opted death and faced destruction by the Jew god worshippers and their sellswords from those who already converted. The northern Crusades were horrific and no amount of human death and suffering was inflicted on our lands up until the Great War in comparison except perhaps the Islamic invasion in the east but that's also the same blood-god just a different flavour of death-cult within.

Did Christianity exist at the period of Anglo- Saxons?

Tulshi Fabregas About late Anglo-Saxon (1066AD) Christianity reached the area
@brianboru76844 жыл бұрын
@@kyellaperante Yes, the Britons were converted to Christianity before the Anglo-Saxon period. St Patrick was a Briton and converted the Irish. Saint Aidan an Irishman converted the Angles, and Saint Augustine converted the Saxons.

l just wanted to point out !!, that women of anglo-saxon origin are sublime!!, could not say the opposite!, because they are germanic peoples!!, who came from the netherlands!. scottish!, welsh!, and jewish!, and irish!, black!, women, in their sets are not TERRIBLE!!!!
@thesoneofmercury6 жыл бұрын
I enjoyed the lesson until the one sided Christian agenda became apparent, the Anglos did not willingly convert and they did believe in an afterlife not to mention their daily life was not all about violence. Come one man at least attempt to be a true teacher.
