I'm not convinced that the 2 piece increases all burn effects. I think it will only impact the 4 piece's Ignite duration. The reason you had an extra tick is because you have added a yellow gem when you put on the Angmet braclet, which might've increased your potency. Can you verify if that was a topaz or a citrine on that set item you put on?

If 2 pc wont increase burn effect then what else will it do! I think its purpose is to increase the duration & thereby some extra damage by burn.

If u use burn attack; does burn from ur attack different from the burn proc from the set? Ie will they stack.

The test dummy showed both type of burns as same ie same indicator. So yes, both the type of burn/ignite is treated same. & they should ideally stack.

Blizz just doesn't have a clue what their customers want. The paragon tree, set item, and leggo item programmers need to get together and make some builds work. It seems to me that they just release stuff and hope the community can make something happen with random spit.

2x is really bad. only one tick not worth at all. 4x it would be ok but 19k crits? thats super low. in PVP further reduced by 66% its nothing. On the top of that only 15% chance :X

The 2pc set has niche use. Someone running 6p BOE will benefit from this 2p bonus as the burn duration increase will mean longer duration of crit buff from 4p BoE. Same for pain clasp user. The 19k crits is pretty nice i feel for a 2k res player. The bonus from set items is not reduced by 66% in BG. it is applied at full value.

@@siddgang yes sets arent reduced but your damage is! instead of this one i would rather use 2x vithu with banquet. also 2x this new set only applies to burning so better option is 2x baron set which applies 30% to all harmful effects

Better options for who and in what type of content? There are some really crazy builds with BK which just has cascading chain reactions over and over with 1 skill click. There are essences that increase damage done based on amount of dots on targets which can outpace 2pc bonuses in some instances. Barbs have a dot detonate so with just the 4pc it would increase the detonate dmg more than it already is and its a pvp helm anyway. Still have 4 slots after that. More testing is needed but I can see places where it can could work really well. Time will tell of course. But I run builds that most people aren't and do great in pvp so I'm used to people saying "don't do that, do this!" I'm just having a friendly conversation not attacking you. I hate that I have to put this disclaimer but I want to make clear my "tone" isn't an attitude :)
