I think those weather vanes in the castle and mines have Taunt, essentially. You can't target anything other than them. They also seem to take double damage from horizontally thrown orbs, and half from vertically attacking orbs like Ball Lightning. They're there to prevent you from sniping the other enemies present, but they generally don't do much unless you're running an Orbelisk only build or something.

Damage depends of it's color i think. Brown ones has 2x horizontal 1/2 vertical. Grey ones are opposite

@@mikef5951 yeah, orborborbos as only rob + dumbbell is a good strat. You just discard orb repeatedly for a turn or two for big damage up. Combos with damage immunity while reloading to be genuinely broken.

26:50 Lightning rod thingy will force you to target it instead of aiming for something else. It only affects orb that can freely choose target like Lightning orb or Orbelisk, most of normal orbs can't shoot the lightning rod in the back anyway and will target the closest enemy like normal. It also have damage resistance if it get hit from above(but also takes more damage from horizontal attack). Not entirely sure if it gives off some kind of buffs or debuff though.

And Tom has shown the power of the Orboros. Unless one can get the Overwhammer, I personally prefer the Poltorbgeist, just hitting all enemies makes things nice.

The Orboros is actually just a massive trap. Even with a discard, you're still going to be throwing it away except for a handful of single target enemies. It's best use is getting rid of stones for you. It's like a better knife, that's all it is really.

On the little bomb puzzle paths like the one at 2:08, you only need to detonate the same _NUMBER_ of bombs on that screen. I found that out after having the magnet and turning a couple pegs into bombs and accidentally completing it. Love this game!

I feel so bad because the special relic that cuts your health and gives you constant health regain on pegs hit is so overwhelmingly good. It would have been so good to see how well it worked with this build.

He would have survived the end boss with it. I am not sure he would have made it there though. That 2nd to last fight went so poorly with half his hp he might not have won, I'm not going to re-watch it and count pegs and hp, but it definitely would have been close.

The weather vein things prevent you from selecting different enemies. It forces you to target them, so things like the ball lightening or orbelisk have to hit them.

I do love the Peglin videos and the great drama that comes with them :) Finally saw so many videos that I went and bought me a copy of it and noticed there was a bundle with another game called Roundguard and I've been playing that as well. It's got the bouncing peglin/peggle game play but you can have different classes and you have health instead of a set number balls to use. It's been a blast and it has the same kind of rogue-lite stuff that Peglin has with artifacts and trinkets that affect game play as well as skills you can use and armor and weapons. there's a map you go through as well and what seems like quite a few different kinds of bosses. I'd love to see you play it at some point unless you are tiered of the bouncing peg-based games :D

Yeah, Every time I see that upside down world boss I just get upset; they need to nerf its HP or get rid of 2 black holes (or make them smaller). they map gets shrunk too much without enough pegs and then the mixed gravity... I actually hate it everything else seems decent and/or fair, but that is too different and should be a world five like thing, especially how it basically nerfs the boulder completely and has so few pegs that the heal only has like half its merit - Hope they fix it at the very least.

I like how the gravity is centered almost exactly in middle- gives it that upside-down feeling. But yeah he hits pretty hard, moves at bat-speed, and has a lot of health. I get what you mean about the gravity part bit it is too imbalanced; i think the best way to put it would be that they need to have at least one factor or gimmick in the player's favour. It comes off more as a punishment without an appropriate payoff.

The upside down mini boss definitely needs work. I think getting rid of the holes at the bottom and adding some super bouncy thing to get it to go up would help. It always feel bad to play that map, at least they nerfed his damage, he used to hit for 20. I love the build, though not taking the -50 max hp, heal on bounces relic was a huge mistake that cost you the run.

Had a great run yesterday with the orberos, the relic that does 20 damage to everything each reload (multiplied by the number of reloads) plus the 6 healing every reload relic. Could basically just spam the trash button most fights.

Managed to finish cruciball lvl 2 so far. I feel like the devs need to widely buff up relics - looking at you grabby hand (or whatever it's called) - and really dial down on the nerfing - looking at my massacred boy electropegnet. They managed to implement more challenging stages - personally i hate them, especially the one at 43:44 and upside down man is still bs - but they have failed to compensate for it so far, in the form of buffs imo.
