That's still on-brand for the town of Bigfoot. Some fields of cryptozoology deal with mysterious noises detected on recording devices (see the Bloop), so those encrypted messages could cause some to believe that there may be a land-based Bloop! Even though it's just the civilians of Bigfoot sending memes to one another.

Great episode Tom. Something I've noticed about traffic is in this game apparently although turning lanes exist. At lights, for those turning lanes, they do not get turning lights or arrows. Which allow turning traffic to actually get through without having to cross straight traffic. Which causes traffic jams & slows down the flow of traffic. On the other hand, roundabouts from what I've noticed when there is heavy traffic, the AI doesn't understand how to use them properly & 1 side ends up stuck waiting constantly. Just something to keep in mind for the future. Easiest solution I've found is try find where the traffic is going & try split the flow up to other roads to low the density.

More lanes is not always more good, if the AI in City skylines 2 is similar to one, then you need to do some lane mathematics. If you have a 2 lane coming down to a 4 way intersection, then its worth it upgrading that 2 lane to a 3 lane just before the intersection, that way you have 1 dedicated lane to each direction. (left lane turning left, middle lane going forward, and right lane turning right) The Ai is much better then about picking the right lane, and not doing some *panic* turns which was seen in the video at points where you have 4 lanes coming into a 3 way intersection. I hope this helps abit Tom!

For traffic try not to have too many connections coming onto your main roads, and set policies to help in certain areas. Can't wait for the rest of the series!

Tom more lanes =/= more good :( Imagine turning right onto garland st. Then getting over 4 lanes just to turn left. That will cause a ton of traffic backup. Also If a roundabout has a ton of lanes it should be bigger to allow drivers time to switch lanes and get out Godspeed city boy.
