One of the biggest mistakes that these maps make is never making spore launchers truly viable. They always set up the missile defenses too thick. It would be fun for them to have pockets so spores could actually do something.

Some intended spore targets would be good, though i think with enough upgrades on spores it'd eventually get there. It's just that usually the spore launchers are a bit slow at firing.

Actually spores are viable on this map. When I played it I massively buffed the first launcher and it managed to put some creeper in the void which allowed me to egg up some forward nullifiers.

the thing is, the spores arent like supposed to be your only way of attacking, its a support for your creep same as skimmers and airsacs

@@duhhnai except spores are so underpowered (slow, low HP, low creep yield, no targetting) that they're pretty close to useless even as support unless you've already overwhelmed the enemy defenses.

Airsac upgrades decrease the time and then increase the number. You'll notice 0 upgrades was 5 min for 1 airsac, then after your first few it went to 2 every 30 seconds. Requires lots of investment.

Requires a lot of investment yeah, but can also become insane when you have like 10 Air sacs constantly putting a strain on the snipers while there's spore launchers making sure the missile launchers are too busy.

The air sacs don't usually die though, notice how many he had at the end. Like an air force they go back to reload with creeper but if you invest in them early, you will get an insane amount

Someone needs to design a map that you play as creep where Tom has done his thing and placed a hundred turrets when you honestly need only like 5 and just crazy levels of things.

Oh, I'd seen this map the other day as well! Super fun steam roll at the end, always nice to have a bit of a crazy finale. Like a nice fireworks show lol My strategy was to just bee-line to the blob nest and skimmer factory, get those buffed to shit, and the random waves of eggy blobs and spam of skimmers just overwhelms them so quick lol

Most of the time the factories take way too long to be buffed enough to become effective against the spam of missiles or sniper turrets. Usually just as well to load up an area near an emitter with rocks and lay a fuse of eggs down towards your frontline and letting the creep flow.

I try to prioritize using Rocks to hit M-Rifts and when RNGeezus lands the hit, daisy chain Eggs to cut off power to that region. It's fun to see Tom use a similar approach. If it's a map without pressure from them building up AC, it's fun to play the long game and stack a ton of eggs out of range by key targets and then slowly just creep in until everything suddenly all goes up at once.

i must say, i only started watching CW4 about a month ago, its been great, before I wrote it off now I cant wait for more. i have been watching the older vids and I think I like watching the other style of playing as creep, this one seems too simple and a little easier

Actually rocks are not targetting randomly they kill all guns in range from near to far and then the same with mortars and so on, following a certain order of targets...

Tom spent a long time leaving that factory with just a SINGLE tower connecting it and the rest of the map. Worried about missile launchers? Take away their missiles.

He specifically said he didn't want to try to hard to get just to keep the map more interesting, notice how pretty much as soon as he destroyed it, the rest fell really quickly
