it seems like when a purge begins, enemies keep spawning until you kill specific targets that you are not made aware of.

They don't seem to keep spawning for me. In some of the larger arenas, I've wandered for what seems like ages trying to find the last dude when the room is otherwise completely empty. They do seem to spawn in waves though and the next wave won't spawn until you clear the previous.

@@nephatrine I've definitely had purges that were much shorter when I beelined for the strongest enemy. It seems each wave has a target that keeps calling friends in. Purges frequently stop for me with guys still wandering around.

@@Shieldwall100 i usually play on normal. but one purge i did have to turn on invincible mode because the guys just kept spawning and i couldn't get close to the plague toad. so i thought, "ok, i'll just clear out his helpers until i can get to him", they never seemed to stop coming. after that, when purges started, i would seek out the strongest foe(s) and take them down.

Its always a jump scare when you’ve just defeated a host of foes, it’s gets quiet, and the the servitor teleports in from out of nowhere from the corner of your screen. Little bastard Also, keep playing, it’s cool to hear you describe 40K throughout the game as you come across things

This game has the same problems I have with Space Marine, which makes sense. It just sucks to have people sort of take this as *the* representation for a WH40k Space Marine, when like the weapons and movement style are just 40k skins of Doom era games. I guess it boils down to, did you come to 40k before or after Transformers was released. I tend to find those who came after, want Marines that are more like Optimus Prime, in those movies. Jumping around and flying through the air and doing one handed shots to the head. I always felt like that was the Eldar gig. 40k Marines were much more like mini-tanks from that WWI-WWII era, that just keep implacably moving across a killing field.
