Angra are a Brazilian power metal band. Kiko Loureiro was in that band up until 2015 when he joined Megadeth. ‘Holy Land’ and ‘Temple of Shadows’ are essential albums for anyone getting into power metal.

Sandy was a child singer very famous here in Brazil, singing for children... she was something like 5 years old when started singing with her brother... now she sings something more to pop in portuguese.. she is the daughter of Xororó, of Chitãozinho & Xororó, a brazilian country duo very famous here in Brazil.

The interlude is about Sandy... shes known in Brazil since a child as "the good girl" - she sings romantic songs and even now that she almost 40 and have a child media still "sees" her as a "virgin"... so her joining this song was very unecspected for most people

Im a really big fan of Angra, but i dont like this music video. By the way, the singer is Fábio lione, the singer of rhapsody of fire. Angra had 3 singers so far: André Matos, the 3 place in the "whos gonna replace Bruce Dickinson" when he left iron maden; Edu falaschi, i think he has like the 5 place or so; and now Fábio lione.(André is always in the bests metal singers lists Worldwide). This Band is also where Kiko Loureiro, lead guitarrist from Megadeth came, and the former drummer is Aquiles priester, who should be in deram theater but for some reason they didnt hire him and he was the drumm teacher of Eloy Casagrande, drummer from sepultura. So yeah, they pretty mutch invented heavy metal in Brazil along with sepultura. Andre was also in avantasia with tobias samet (edguy), andi darris (helloween) and a lot of other great singers, and Tobias samet once sayed André had the best female metal Voice he ever heard lol.

You never heard because americans don't know nothing outside from the English-north American metal world. Angra has a great history in the power metal world since 1992. Their former lead guitarrist is now the lead megadeth guitarrist. I suggest to start from their first albuns... you will not regret.

I always enjoy seeing your reactions! Man, you should really react to a song from a band called Shaman, Fairy Tale. The vocalist, who sadly passed away last year, is the first vocalist of Angra and then founded Shaman when he left the band with other members of Angra. But you should react to a live version called "SHAMAN - Fairy Tale [CC Lyrics]" on KZbin. I promise, you will not regret!
