Angra is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in 1991 that has gone through some line-up changes since its foundation. They have released nine regular studio albums, five EPs, and three live CD/DVDs to date. Led by Rafael Bittencourt, the band has gained a degree of popularity in Japan and Europe.

Thank you for doing my request! André Matos (R.I.P) was one of the greatest in power metal scene. He was a singer in several bands (Viper, Angra, Shaman, Avantasia...). It was nice to see you getting Helloween vibes because Angra had influences from them. André often had collaborations with the guys from Helloween (and Angra, after André left the band). The song you were trying to remember is "Eagle Fly Free". I noticed that you were surprised by the fact that there was violin on their first album, a little fun fact about Andre Matos: He's an actual director, he studied classical music and directed a symphonic orquestra to get his university diploma. You can definitely notice in his songs how much of his classical training is applied, he's not just a great singer, he's a trained musician.
