What The extra +4 cards is about? I bought it and have no clue

I heard someone said about this +4 cards issue. During DC/KPP when you spend bird token/ 60 gems for continue playing, you have 4 cards instead of 3.

Sometimes you can buy 3 extra cards for 60 gems. With the pass you get 4 extra cards. 😊
