How did you got 2000 apples

Simply, by playing a long time. My hatchling is on level 2, needing only 10 apples per feed. You can collect more than that during each 'feeding' period, so your apple stock should go up!

You can get Express Tickets from the Daily Deals but at a cost of 2,000 gems - not worth it. During hat events you can often get an Express Ticket with 2,000 event coins, which is probably better to do.
