To upgrade a 1st mastery class, you only need 24 mastery points. My strategy of getting those points the safe way is to go to Pig Prison cuz it has lots of pigs in it

To level up the potions, you have to go to the pig hut pretty much in the middle of the map! Also, the glowing items you receive in the prize wheel are no different, it's just glowing to be "look at me, I'm one of the good prizes" - typically in normal levels, it would be the 3x prize that glows, but since they're all one-ofs, just the first one glows.
