UPDATE: Another community manager at Rovio (Oscar) has clarified details about Angry Birds Classic's negative impact on their other games. According to him, Classic's removal isn't related to the money it's making on the app store. Here's how he describes the situation: "Think of it this way. RC:AB is a premium game, it costs money. Someone who googles 'angry birds' might see RCAB first, see the price tag and be discouraged and leave." I still think removing the game is lame though :(

While it is sad, it also doesn't come as a surprise to me. The rerelease was an unfinished product. It had many glitches and bugs, plus many features in the original rendition were missing. On top of that, there was barely any promotion or marketing efforts for the title other than a KZbin trailer. This also does make me a bit concerned about the future of Bad Piggies 2, which is another major anticipated release from the fanbase.

This is infuriating. Rovio should realize that if the Classic Remake is getting more attention than their new games, than that should say something about the quality of the others. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The remake has all the charm and quality of the original, and the original still made Rovio a success. If Rovio really wants us to pay more attention and more money, then remake more of the classics and KEEP them up until they have to be remade to stay up to date with the current game making software. I know I would pay immediately for Angry Birds Seasons to be remade.

As an Apple user, at least I still have the opportunity to play it, yet this is still a major L. I LOVED Angry Birds so much, and I still have a piece of heart of it even to this day as a grown teen. Another good thing is that I have the trilogy for the Xbox, but IT IS NOT THE SAME as the original mobile game. I personally like some of the other games like Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars, but it's not like the og, which explains the situation with newer games. The Tiki tribe awakes and they emerge from the molten rocks that are still airborne. The eruption continues until Tiki Tower bursts out of the volcano and roars. The members of the Tiki Tribe then go down to the island to hypnotize the animals there by playing music (namely elephants, giraffes, ostriches, hippos, tigers, antelope, zebras, rhinos, pangolins, porcupines, pelicans, lions and squirrels). The animals start stealing every egg from Tiki Island, only to come across thee Angry birds' nest. Red after hiding from the volcano eruption finally steps out of the house just in time to see the eggs being taken away by the native animals Red Scowls and thinking that the pigs must have enslaved these animals to steals the eggs for them, until a tiki general comes along a few seconds later and pushes him back into his hut. The Tiki plays its music, trying to hypnotize the bird, but Red seems to be immune against the hypnosis by their music. The Tiki tries again as Red squints his eyes at him and then Angered, as he has found the culprit to why his eggs has gone missing. After the cutscene, the player gets control. Red punches the tiki out of his hut and walks outside. The Birds then begin their quest to take back their eggs and rid the tikis of The island. Along the way they meet up with a tiki named tiki bird who is a member of the tiki tribe but he betrayed them to joined the birds And new birds like a hummingbird named Zipz, a puffin named Puff, a flamingo named Flim and a sparrow named Spike. The gameplay of angry birds stay the same with the slingshot you can launch the birds to take down the tiki tribe and the possessed wildlife(that includes animals, plants, ghosts, skeletons, and robots) and some are sheltered inside of structures made of glass, wood and stone, alongside other objects. and the multi stage levels except for the boss battles. The pigs will be in the game but as minor enemies, and Zeta's here too but as a boss battle ironically Both the pigs and zeta were being hypnotized by the tikis along with other bosses to do their dirty work. There's also Professor pig who helps the birds by leveling them up Greg and Olive (the blues' parents from the movie and the blues) run the shop which contains powerups Professor Carrots aka the tutorial Rabbit(who serves a tutorial instructor for the birds) This game combines A 2d level gameplay with a cgi background

Y'know with how well the OG AB's doing, you'd think that Rovio would take a step back and re-evaluate what made their game good in the first place. I think reason they doing is because the mobile landscape no longer made original idea and creatively, now it made by greedy companies who just want to made a provide in mobile gaming. Rovio sadly, one of them, reach is kinda sad right now. 😢

I played both classic and angry birds go THE ORIGINAL ONE of course and its so sad that they removed both, i could play angry birds go for days. It was literally my childhood, goodbye :(

This is just ridiculous. Most of Angry Birds fan always loved the classic games like Classic, Seasons, Space, Star Wars, Rio, Go and Epic, Friends (the new one is terrible), Bad Piggies (Its still here!) not the new ones which are in some Angry Birds Movie style what I don't like. No one doesn't really like most of the present games Rovio made. I feel like Rovio could go bankrupt due to deleting Rovios Classic Angry Birds, that cost 0.99 which gives them the money.

I uploaded a video of getting Angry Birds before its deletion tomorrow, just in time. It was a part of my childhood and something I really enjoyed, enough for it to be nostalgic. I played 1.6.3 and still have that version today, back when Angry Birds was still good. The remake is surprisingly not that bad at all, except it’s too popular for Rovio, despite being named “AB”. So once again, they basically want to disown one of the few mobile phone/tablet games I actually enjoyed (I usually only like console games). This is very disappointing news to hear. I want nothing to do with their “free to play” trash, and it’s sad seeing Angry Birds fall again.

I dont understand how Rovio dont understand that we dont enjoy their current modern games and we want all the classics back. The old games were so simple, bird with a power or different ability depending the game and you would slingshot it but now its all some Candy crush rip offs with angry bird characters with their horrible new designs.
