What a incredible collection, of course the finalize plushies we got will always be iconic and some of the best video game plushies ever made, and then there are the prototype plushies which is fascinating to see and it would have been incredible to own if it wasn’t for angry birds losing its popularity in the mid 2010s. But still your collection has at this point become a museum of these guys and I applaud you for it. Thank you for preserving and saving these little guys.

Like seriously without this channel I would have known some of these plushies ever existed like the cancelled Angry Birds Go and Star wars 2 sets. Some prototypes of these plushies. Absolutley amazing you were able to do something like this, big fan of your efforts to preserve these toys that have had a huge pot in my heart for all of these years! Question though, what, or why if you even know, were the classic wave 1 samples purged compared to everyone else? Really sad to hear that since those have been a favorite set of samples for me. (also wish we got the egg shittin' Matilda plush because that just sounds funny as hell.)

Huge thank you! To answer your question, CWT never really saw any of these as "worth preserving." Samples are just like early sketches or concepts. They're a means to an end that are no more useful than trash once the final product is done. So if they need the space, they toss them.

Great video....How do you measure them to determine their size identity? Measure side ways or bottom to top? If so, then top of hat or hair, ears etc or the head??

CWT has a four general size variations, 5", 8", 12", and 16". There are a few others that are less common, but that's generally the norm. Whether a plush is exactly that size is a bit fugazi, because different characters looks different obviously. CWT measured plushies diagonally, but they were made to be in the same scale overall.
