Angry Birds Rio marked the first major IP collab in the history of the franchise, partnering up with 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios latest, and their latest theatrical release, Rio. While it may appear to be another shameless reskin of the original, do not be deceived, as Rio arguably was the most innovative game of its time, introducing countless features and minor tweaks that truly make it stand out from the rest (movie tie-in aside of course). Being a mainline title, it of course commanded a plush or two set of its own, which is why we are here today. But I heed the same warning: do not overlook the Rio set's lore. These plushies have some of the most fascinating history with respect to all the sets we've covered up to this point. So let's dive into their history, and nitpick one of the most iconic plush sets of the Classic era. This video will include analysis, postulations, and some storytelling.

I'm glad you're remaking your rio video, since that was your first commonwealth doccumentary it was bound to have flaws so it's great that you're getting back at it with some more prototypes included, i hope your abspace video gets the same treatment too.

To be clear, this is a video covering _all_ of Rio. Previously I only touched on the Caged Birds, which covered what it could at the time it was made. But of course, thanks to my partnership with CWT, we've got a lot more clarity on those things. With regard to remakes though, Space and Classic are definitely high priority for me. They will 100% get reduxs.

I have a 16 inch plush of Pedro and it’s been sitting collecting dust in my cupboard for years and was unaware of its rarity! I’m now selling it on eBay for £30! I’m from the UK and it was very common at the time when those plushies came out for arcades to have him, Blue and Jewel in claw machines aswell as Nigel & Nico!

I’ve got one question though, I have a 8 inch Nigel plush but I don’t know if it’s a claw machine variant because all the tags are cut off. I got it from a seller who sold a lot of plushies I needed. Do the Finland variants have sound chips in them?

The Finnish variants do not, as they are Rovio imports. You can usually tell a Good Stuff apart from a retail just by looking at it. If you’re still unsure, shoot me an email ([e-mail]) and I’ll take a look!

hey not trying to be rude or anything but i think you need to do a little bit more work on the audio mixing, certain parts are just too loud and i can barely hear what you are saying. aside from that, your video is very good and it would get an 8/10. your editing style is incredible and very informative, but again the audio mixing needs some work. still gonna binge your content though regardless bc its interesting to me lol

Some parts are intentionally loud of course. This video has a few places where I made an effort to ramp audio to make it louder to convey some tension. It would help if you cited exactly where you’re finding this issue so I can try and correct this going forwards, because I know it’s not always perfect. I try to keep the audio consistent with regard to the initial voiceover, and tailor everything else to it. More difficult to judge the background music, sound effects, etc. due to the limitations of my PC. Premiere can only handle so much, exports take an entire day at 4K60. Anywho, thanks for the excellent feedback, wish more would leave constructive comments like this. :)
