This is exactly it. Because nuance and satire, two elements integral to any clever and thoughtful comedy, are completely lost on the fascist thought police. Well said. It's the people who don't understand that this is observational comedy who want it banned. I find most of Chris's work hilarious because I've encountered many people who are like his characters in real life. Ie in schools and offices there are so many horrendously annoying, narcissistic and arrogant people like his character Mr G, who everyone just puts up with and allows to be obnoxious out of lack of choice to do anything about it. Chris highlights these obnoxious characters found all across the world and the absurdity of the situations they create in workplaces.
