I’m just saying I’ve heard that so many times it doesn’t come from him. He’s not wise for saying that and personally as an autistic person I do not appreciate that saying it’s really annoying. It doesn’t make me feel any better and plus the representation in that video, it was not good at all. It was awful, especially hate the part where Carson got cheered at at the end by all those random people who came in who is convinced to eat at the restaurant because of him all that he said to them was absolutely and he gets a parade that’s not how that works. He just said absolutely nothing. Crazy happened. He just use that thing to talk. No big deal. He didn’t do anything wrong. That’s just really annoys me. I said different way. It’s basically the super cripple stereotype

I suck at math, I’m not good with hands-on stuff, and I have awful learning disabilities. I’ve been laid off for being too slow. Being autistic is absolutely debilitating. I’m fed up of being called the “r” word, but I’m also fed up of being seen as this hidden genius. At 31, I still don’t know how to monetize my skills. I’m an absolute wreck, and I have weird health issues that none of the neurotypes I’ve interacted with have ever had to deal with. Being involved with autism discussion groups on social media has been helpful to me a lot, but we still have a long ways to go with representation. I normally love Dhar Mann videos, and it’s nice to see Carson being validated, but it’s totally unrealistic and doesn’t apply to my situation.

I can relate to the boy who is non-verbal-autistic, I can speak but I’m also autistic. How I would explain what autism is in my words is basically where a person learns things differently from other people. My parents don’t let the school use cards since there scared of me going non-verbal. Reason why is because I also have a speech issue. I can speak fine is just I stutter, block a lot so in elementary I had to go to speech therapy. Now that I’m in middle school I still have speech therapy. Sometimes in school I can’t understand the work because in my mind, it’s confusing. I kinda hate my 1st math teacher because I need to processing a thing at a time and he says to the people who haven’t finished to “hurry up” but he knows about my autism and it makes me mad but I don’t show it. The symptoms: -avoiding eye contact -hard to understand why others are feeling what they are feeling. -anxious in social situations -finding it hard to say how you feel -seeming rude when you don’t mean to be mean to someone -being socially awkward -delayed milestone -learning in a different way -not wanting to be held or cuddled -not responding to there names when there 12 months old -not following instructions -not looking somewhere when someone points at something -rocking from side to side -attached to a certain object or toy -repeating words,sounds, or tastes -movement problems -difficulty adapting to a new routines or schedules
