After multiple visitors hurled water bottles into a chimpanzee’s enclosure at a zoo in China, the angry primate gave the taunting tourists a taste of their own medicine. Unfortunately a young woman and her iPhone took the brunt. Online netizens in China are rushing to the defense of Diu Na Xing, the chimpanzee who is becoming internet famous for furiously chucking mud, stones and items at visitors who tease him at Changsha’s Nanning Zoo. What's crazy is that most humans are fully capable of throwing 3x faster than a chimp ever could. An average MLB pitcher could easily do 4x as fast as most chimps could at their absolute peak speed, and with accuracy as well. He was simply mimicking what he saw. He was encouraged through the cheers and continued lessons of throwing bottles at him. Someone was bound to get hurt. I could not have watched this continue. It's inhumane.
