Hey Tyler, @ 18:45 that's an old door lock called a night latch. It's sort of an automatic lock, but if you turn the big knob it unlocks. If you turn and hold and move the small button, it will stay unlocked till you move the small button again. The insides are missing to that one unfortunately.

The flat piece at 6:27 was an end piece for a spritz cookie press and the round handle at 6:40 was the handle for it. It was a tube shaped device that was loaded with cookie dough and the handle was turned to screw out a shaped cookie. The one you found makes a wreath. There are others that make stars and Christmas trees. My Norwegian grandma made these every year and taught all of us too. Yummmm!!!!❤❤❤❤

I would have been polite to them up to the point of being threatened with the police. That's a game changer. I would have done the same as you stayed there and let them call and encouraged them to do so. They knew they were wrong and could have been polite and less demanding and acting as if they owned the whole river. I'm a fisherman myself from the bank and water with rod and reel as well as magnet and would never treat anyone that way. Especially at a distance I like to talk face to face

6:28 is the top of a cookie press and the pan handle are from the Mirro Aluminum Co in that area of the river made before it was torn down because it closed about 20 years ago. The company was there from 1909 until about the late 1990's. I live in Two Rivers and do apologize for that rude man. I know our town is friendly and am sorry you found a bad apple. Love your channel. Update: according to Facebook there was a Wisconsin carp tournament on June 2nd. If that's the day you were there. So there were people from all over the state in town that day. So please don't think all residents act like the people you encountered.

I was out magnet fishing yesterday and some guy that works around the Mariana told me that magnet fishing is prohibited throughout the area I was in because it used to be an old shipyard during WWI and there might be historical relics. I’ve been to that area multiple times and no one has said a thing. I don’t care what he says tho.

19:05 is a old style dead bolt. I grew up with those. They are made of brass. Clean it up. They are cool dead bolts that attach to the door. They were so solid. Valuable material too.

the item at the 19 minute mark is an old style dead bolt lock. We had them on the inside of our doors. You turned the dial to release the bolt and it would then automatically slide back and lock when you closed the door. When you pressed the little button beside the knob it would lock the bolt back and keep it from locking. Can’t tell you how many times I locked myself out of the house lol. 😊

Since you're finding a lot of odds and ends scrap stuff where you're at. Maybe that's what that parking lot used to be until they buried or hauled it away, maybe it used to be a scrap yard back in the day.
