The intro was a reference to a real Sega CD commercial

4:15 There's an extra message that's only in the higher quality upload of this episode that said the extended theme song was originally produced as bonus content, but was later used in one the actual episodes due to the song gaining popularity.

4:27 - Now you see why this song is so catchy, it never gets old.

Yeah the long intro was dope! I was taken aback by how great the full version is!

4:20 Hey, that’s nothing - here in Australia in the 90s, there was a children’s cartoon called _The Adventures of Blinky Bill,_ and its intro was about that long, maybe *slightly* shorter. And we put up with it as kids.

7:19 I love how the game devs forgot to edit out the actress waiting for her cue to scream.

Corpse Killer, consider yourself lucky. Classic avgn, I remember watching this when it first uploaded way back when. Where did my 20s go....

Now you definitely gonna watch his 32x video now. Also check out his terminator and games based on Spielbergs movies too.

Basket Case is an actual horror comedy movie from 1982 and it's a fun, kinda gory movie, you should watch it ;) It's directed by Frank Henenlotter, who also made other movies such as Brain Damage (also recommend), Frankenhooker (also a fun movie) and Bad Biology (it was ok). But he also made two sequels to Basket Case - 2 was ok and 3 was the worst one, but it still had some moments.

I remember the Spider-Man game which is based on Genesis, but it has cutscenes and an open world map. Ecco the dolphin has great music in CD format! Definitely give that one a try😃

Had a friend who sold me his for 40 bucks after having it for only a couple of months. Pretty sure I played music CDs on it more than I did the games.

Would you consider reacting to Game Grumps episodes, or do you want to specifically look at in depth reviews when it comes to video games? This video reminded me of their two videos on "Night Trap", and their four part episodes on "Double Switch".

maybe.

@@lolasroom7171 I understand. I'm used to seeing people watch Nostalgia Critic, AVGN, and Scott the Woz, and it makes sense. I'm not sure how it'd be watching someone react to game play with commentary.

I bought a CDX which is a Genesis and Sega CD in one unit. And boy.. Sega CD games are really bad. I went looking for a top 20 list so I could find some good games, and even the "best ones" aren't that good at all. Either they are mediocre/terrible games, ports of Genesis games which have bad loading and no improvements, or the games are decent but cost a small fortune. And by that I mean $300+.
