It's so funny only yesterday I was talking to a friend and she told me that it seems that as soon as somebody expresses a different opinion this person is immediately subject to public shaming as much as in tribal times. And today this video falls on my youtube feed...

Obviously the labeing McCarthyism as being a modern era witch-hunt had something on that kind in mind. But hey, at least you could be proud there for decades long of nurturing a proven good practices in.. what you call democracy and freedom protection.

American Exceptionalism will prevent this country from instituting any ideas coming from other countries. Having worked many years overseas I have seen cheaper and better alternatives but the US is simply not interested. Secondly our 1% are just fine with the current situation, unless their wealth/lives are threatened they will resist any social changes being implemented here.

The man describes fundamentals of human nature - not least in a crisis. There is no solution here. the crisis is real. The fear must come. The anger must serve. Else, you must be diminished or extinguished. It's not all about rhetoric when the problem is real.

major missing fix is UBI, which is essential to eliminate central bank stimulus for large banks in favor of direct stimulus to citizens not only more effective, but also more equitable

To be frank, I would think that apart from evening out the inequality, we strip those at the top of their wealth. They didn't earn it, they paid the strong arm to wrench the nessesty right out of the Poor's hands. Angry on both sides.
