Chameleon is not bad at all. I like to have one decent piece on each set just so I can crouch invisible if I want. Sure, it's not the most functional but a fun effect nonetheless. Great rolls btw Turtle, some very good luck.

I wish Bethesda would allow us to pick our own Legendaries from a list. What I mean is pop up list that would appear when we want to work on Power Armor,Armor, & Weapons. That we can choose from that pop up list from our workbench inventory. Like when we do when we add mods to our Power Armor,Armor, & Weapons. That way we wouldn't waste scrip when we add an Legendary to said item above. That way it would be a whole lot cheaper than wasting scrip to get what we want from a list instead.

That would be nice but Bethesda would never do something like that. They want everyone to play constantly. They have built grind into this games DNA. Without grind the live service gameplay loop would break.

Because of too many complaints other gaming companies like Ubisoft has cut back on some of the players grinding. So they (the players) will stay & not quit the game. I know because I play a lot of Ubisoft's games.

To me it is amazing how it seems to get easier to get repeat effects by having a few in my inventory that have desired effects. I always carry a pistol with BE just because it seems to help get other BE weapons to get rolled off legendary kills.

I get the opposite effect, I always get the legendaries I do not have on my character either equipped or just in inventory. As for the weapon type itself my main has been a stealth rifleman or commando since day 1 of the games release and the very first legendary rifle I got for it was mid summer of the second year of the games release and it was a low level 1 star hunters POS that would be useless for a level 1 character. I on multiple occasions have even been browsing a players vending machine and saw maybe the perfect item and a random CTD happens before I could even inspect it or just buy it.. and that was before public teams and the ability to rejoin the same server. Also allot of show up to a players camp and open the machine that has 10 3 star armors and instantly upon opening the player leaves the world even though I was sneaking and they couldnt see me on the map.... the instant leaving gets me as being suspect considering how may times it has happened..

legendary roll is completely random, I have crafted 300 Light Machine Guns, not one bloodied explosive, yet I gotten bloodied flamers, bloodied explosive gatling guns (these are great if you know the bug to make them shoot as fast as a real minigun) And so on and so forth, I have BE handmade, various BE pistols, BE rifle (several of them in fact) But the roll is just brutal at times, it seems when you really want something to be BE, its near impossible, but when you do not want it, you get it LOL Aristocrats and explosive is also pretty good, second best to BE.

I have the WORST luck when it comes to armor. I just rolled 15! right legs. ONE overeaters. NO WWR. I'm looking for 2 effects, overeaters and WWR OR action point refresh. I keep getting SHIT! Yet my weapon rolls, on the other hand, are fantastic! I have AT LEAST one great weapon of nearly a dozen different types. Many are even God rolls. For example, I recently rolled an AA/25/25 Enclave frigging flamer! One WITH a reflex sight and aligned flamer barrel! The chances of getting an enclave flamer with those mods is slim, let alone getting a roll like that. But armor? I can't even roll ONE damn piece with just 2 of 3 effects I want! So frustrating 😫! I swear to God the game is mocking me. SURE! Have all the weapons you want pal. You can kiss my asphalt on armor though. Just don't get hit. You'll be fine.

Aristocrats aint that great since it just increases resistance, what you really want is reduction, any form of reduction in damage is good, resistance tops out at 300~ and meaningless beyond, you need like 600 or 900 just to have 20 or 30% more effectiveness.

I've been telling everyone that legendary effects seem to get stuck in the same server. You were in a server that happens to be stuck with apparently Overeaters stat boost and weight reduction perks. This was a good server to roll armor. I suggest always getting some natural drops from a server or having a second party player let you know when they acquire good drops and are still in the same server they got them. You should have invited all of your friends to that server that wanted to roll Overeaters effects. A lot of people will call this blasphemy and say that it is just luck and all in my head but things like you showed here happen far too often in my opinion.

Got a question Turtle , I have enough perk points to run Follow Through and Taking one for the team. I run a sneak commando but my thought process is if I run both I will have a 40% damage boost at all times.

I got really luck like that as well. When I rolled my T-65 I got a full set in 7 rolls. I only have the Union PA Torso and Right leg so far but I have both overeaters in 3 rolls.

Turtle I had the most amazing weekend I got a god roll auto ask a god roll chainsaw Anna god roll shredder, your auto wax and the chainsaw or both anti-armor power attack damage with breaks 50% slower the shredder was anti-armor bashing, I think produced weight. I also got to vampire power attack damage weapons as well. One of them happened almost instantly. The rest took a lot of re-rolling. It is simply unfortunate that I was on a custom world. I just wanted to test the differences between anti-armor power attack, and just power attack and just nothing.

I re-rolled my piece of regenerating armour and got another 4 regenerating pieces in a row, so I stopped as I thought that Bethesda must have changed it in the update, so the first star stayed the same and only re rolled the 2nd and 3rd.I was going to ''Ask the turtle'' about this until I saw you do it. @3:27

They add up quickly, especially is you have lots of script from playing events all day. Jump servers to buy more modules from the Rusty Pick.

Union has a higher overall DR than Excavator. Plus it has a built in +75 carry weight which can be enhanced with a weapon or ammo weight legendary effect. Excavator is not that good for DR at all.

Turtle, I thought Aristocrats was decent for PA? Though typically I run Vanguards on full ho heavy gunner/commando hybrid with Excavator for carry weight and a backup X01 with jetpack and 80% weapon weight reduction. Maybe a what a great, good and decent legendary effects for PA, armor and weapons would get a look of views as I know it confuses me what is optimal sometimes

I'm probably the only one that doesn't understand the love affair with weapon weight. When I go to Eviction Notice or Rad Rumble I take ONE weapon. The bigger issue is the ammo. Ammo especially energy ammo weights a ton! Yea I know there is a card for ammo weight reduction but we are talking PA rolls here. Give me Cavalier and AP all day long. Cavalier because I'm always moving and AP for the obvious. Lastly I've really never seen anyone else use more than 1 weapon and the big mob events either.

Late to the party but it's actually just the free states revolutionary jetpack afaik, I have other atom shop jetpacks but only this one allows me to put it on without the PA jetpack plan. Somehow I have this but not the PA paint set or at least it doesn't work for Union/T-65.

I hear it too and try myself and it work 50/50 imo Like some server I drop and roll alot of the same 3/4 perk and when I join another serv the roll/drop I get is another 3/4 perk set thing , in my case I got lucky bcs when I seen than I drop alot of bloodied perk on event I try rolling a fixer and i got alot of roll with bloodied on so idk 🤷‍♂️ Buuuut sometime I get every perk is possible randomly on drop/roll..

I tested this with a few friends, we all stayed in one server and farmed for hours keeping track of all the legendaries we picked up. We joined other servers, public and private using this same testing and even tried holding a bunch of a specific weapon or armor prefix to try and “skew” things a certain way. I can confidently say it’s RNG. If you sit in a server long enough you will every trait eventually

As fun as this hypothesis is that would require each trait to have a dedicated ranking that would need to be sorted through every single time that any person on that server rolled a legendary. I would bet $100 that bethesda didn’t dedicate all the resources into the ranking system to then implement the coding required for the 99 (max luck) possible RNG lists for each player. Or they just used a randomsort function like every other game

Junk shield? I have always played a commando glass cannon. I am now in love with the chainsaw, so I started to build a tank. I love the benefits unyielding gives me. So I will not use a power armor. One of the cards I’m using is junk shield. But, it’s unclear to me how it really works. It doesn’t seem like I get more protection after 50 pounds of scrap. Does anyone know?

So much grind and self grief of rolling for what exactly? extra carry weight? to be able to roll and gamble more? after you already have everything you want? I rolled hard for a full set of UY SS. But thats inherent legendary item crafting and alot easier imho. Rolling power armor is a friggin nightmare. I barely even care to do it like what is even the point? The PA is awesome on its own but in terms of legendary will never be as cool as an UY armor set.

Depends if you get the 100 carry weight addition with the UNION PA which you get on a full set of EX PA, before any legendary pieces. Plus I think EX is the best looking PA (IMO). Also I'm pretty sure EX doesn't have a jetpack mod which is a major downside.
