Honestly my favourite part of this is the dream sequence. Godzilla, monster of monsters, King of Monster Island, despoiler of cities, nightmare of militaries, some combination of ‘the final boss of all existence’ and ‘the scariest fucker on the planet’ to about 90% of Monster Island’s population… And Anguirus still thinks of him as that little kid he played and learned addition from Mothra with, all those years ago. It’s sweet.

Finally, some Anguirus love. Our boy has literally been the underdog for God knows how long. Even in Godzillland, they give him the worst draw of the bunch and the poor baby just takes it. This entire animation captures the modest nature of Anguirus and being Godzilla’s best friend without making him either a meat shield or someone who gets horrifically injuries and gives Godzilla the strength and motivation to keep fighting. He’s not stupid or weak. He’s just a humble monster who needs a break from constantly helping his best friend. I love this and hope to see more soon (maybe Kiryu but that’s probably unlikely).

I love that Anguirus doesn't know if he could trust Titanosaurus fully, referencing him being controlled, but over the course of his vacation, Anguirus becomes more relaxed around him as he's showing him a great time, even brings Godzilla back to the vacation spot. Titanosaurus deserves good business. He's doing a great job. It's not his fault for the bad rep. Like his motto says, never trust a human!! lol

I think it's adorable how you portrayed the friendship between godzilla and anguirus. With godzilla being the stoic friend who rarely shows emotion, but genuinely cares about his friends and family, and anguirus being the obvious weaker of the two, but will come to his friend's aid when he can, even if it hurts him.

@@cammanderdj146 The Dorats are the little yellow ones. In Godzilla vs King Ghidorah (1991), the dorats are a future species that merged together to become King Ghidorah. The Grassy Godzilla is called Biollante from Godzilla vs Biollante (1989), a vegetative clone of Godzilla from radiating roses w/ Godzilla Cells.

This was everything I wanted from a monster island series and more. The detailing and the world building are amazing and the comedy is fantastic, unlike most movies that try to be funny all the time... Putting Legendary Godzilla in the show just to satisfy legendary fans too was too funny. I really hope there's more to come in the future if that's what you're doing. Edit: There's more!

Enjoyed this from beginning to end! All the wip shots you showed off before were well worth the hype! It’s really impressive how much of an improvement this is from your last Godzilla animation. Obviously not to say that one was bad at all, but this was a way more ambitious project and it really paid off! I love your designs and characterizations of the monsters, they all just feel so right for the characters. My fav designs are probably Mothra, Titanosaurus (both of them have great shape language) and King Ghidorah (he’s like the perfect combination of Ghidorah’s designs over the years). Overall the video feels a lot more refined and polished compared to the last one and I can’t wait to see more from you!

I am in LOVE with this. Manda, Kamacuras, The Dorats, Titano.. oh my god, I love it all. The designs are S tier aswell, and so are the designs for the environments and buildings. The Animation style is golden aswell, and your style overall is very unique. As a Titanosaurus Stan, this is eye candy for me, and brain fuel. For some odd reason, I feel like Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla would work as ex-lovers in a more civilized/modern version of Godzilla.

The fact that this and another video captured a perfect interpretation of Kaijus living together is impressive. Within only 2 videos here’s the things I’ve noticed so far Godzilla: the father figure Jr: The adventurous but also curious son Anguirus:Just wants his best friend to be happy. Mothra: the mother Young mothra larva/Battra larva: siblings Older/separate Mothra lavas: they just exist to make us aww and develop the story. Space Godzilla: the lazy drunk uncle. Mecha Godzilla: The old rival Ghidorah (2/3 of the heads):Godzillas worst enemy and threat to the world Kevin(1/3 of the heads: “Why am I still here… Just to suffer” Orga and manda:* E X I S T* Biolantte: get off my lawn/ the younger sister(probably) stereotype Titano:The “nice” guy who just wants to be with people by making them come to their place to have a fun time. Oh yea and is probably had some beef with Goji and is worried his son will kill him(dam you fit ALOT of lore into titano) Skeleturtle:I don’t know what to say other than exist Gigan and Megalon: best friends but also trouble makers. Destroyah: Godzillas 2nd worst rival (or probably killed his father if the story goes in that direction) Hedorah: the stalker Goro: the roommate Kamakuras: the most populous but also gangsters Dorats:Obedient troublemakers Oh and there’s rodan… *WHY DIDNT HE DO ZE INFANOUS COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO AT SUBRISE*

I love the slice of life story to what would otherwise be a beast of a character! The sheer quantity of homages and references are really fun to see, my favorite would have to be 55 Anguirus with his son! Hope this series gets as popular as Lil' Pootis!
