In the year 1967, the government decided to, for the very first time, put majority of the Earth Monsters on a single island. This included the likes of Godzilla, Rodan, and others, but also the Son of the Anguirus who fought Godzilla in 1955, and a radiated Gorosaurus. This will likely lead to some encounters between several of the monsters.

I love Anguirus . My favourite Toho Monster of all time alongside Baragon . Fun Fact : Anguirus made his debut in Godzilla Singular Point and it actually looks like a real Ankylosaurus . Fun Fact 2 : In his debut Anguirus have a weird carapace , in older version of Anguirus carapace was spliting apart as a single piece . Fun Fact 3 : In Godzilla vs Gigan Anguirus with Godzilla is talking . In Japanese version of the Movie is sort of like speech bubbles when Godzilla and Anguirus is talking .

Was this supposed to be a year before Destroy All Monsters? Because if so it should be set in 1998. And that spark effect doesn’t look very good.

I appreciate the criticism. The reason it's set in 1967 is because "Monster Island" appears in Godzilla vs Gigan and Godzilla vs Megalon, even though "Monster Island" or Monsterland shouldn't exist yet due to Destroy All Monsters saying Monsterland was established in 1999. And Godzilla vs Gigan takes place in 1972, so it would have to take place before 1998. I specifically set it in 1967 incase people forgot DAM took place in 1999 instead of 1968. So yeah

@@BubbaUltra Monster Island and Monsterland are two separate locations. Monsterland is in the Ogasawara/Bonin Islands about 1000 km south of Tokyo. Monster Island is much further away in the South Pacific. If Monster Island were only 1000 km/600 miles away from Japan, it would not take Godzilla those extensive amounts of time shown in "Gigan" and "Megalon" to swim there. ​@Cheap Movie Productions Monster Island is not destroyed in "Megalon." That is something American fans just made up and Toho Kingdom wrongly perpetuates. But having went over Jun Fukuda's screenplay for "Megalon" for a book about writing these movies, Fukuda never intended for us to think the problems at the beginning of the movie destroyed the island. All that was meant to show you was that the far-reaching effects of nuclear testing--that something in the Aleutians could even affect a place on the opposite end of the globe. No more, no less.

Although the same could be said for the stock footage in the later showa films, how Godzilla fought Ghidorah in the same way he had previously. But I guess thanks for the clarification
