excellent explanation. thank you. I just faced one issue in angular version 8, I was getting the exception "Expected validator to return Promise or Observable". but when I changed the NG_ASYNC_VALIDATORS in the provide section to "NG_VALIDATORS" in the directive.ts file it got resolved. not sure if I was doing something else wrong earlier. any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks again for the wonderful videos
