Nice job having Jeremy talk over the CSS styling. It filled in the silence in those sections of the demo. Everything flowed well. Great presentation.

Great job! Kara generates code faster than I can consume! In Rx lingua this is called backpresure :) Will re-watch in a slow motion :)

+Yakov Fain you're right, I've mistaken this with another live demo last week. so many presenters were using snippets.

it seems that the whole page contents wrapped inside the side-layout element. Why is that?

Was it unfortunate or intentional that I was hardly able to read your slides where you spoke about accessibility :) ?

Really, Bootstrap is nicer? What did you drink? I want that. Also, this is not about Polymer, it's Angular2.. did you even pay attention? lmao noob

excuse you, yea it's better by a longshot, and angular 2 is more like jquery 2. i only watched this because i know her and she linked to this from linkedin. i personally don't like downloading packages full of bloat, in order to use a handful of functions. react is better because it's really lightweight and designed with data in mind, you should check it out

+neaumusic I know React. But I don't get what you're saying. After tree shaking you don't have any unused code in your app... You are comparing oranges to apples.

it's mostly personal preference. in my opinion, the wrappers for angular and material design are way too thick and require too many random hacks and idiosyncrasies. i also don't think javascript has any place in HTML, and [class] should be for all hooks, whether CSS or JS. i like the idea of modules and explicit config objects that allow you to splice out modules, rather than jumping around potentially spaghetti code for related functionality. material design looks like a 3 year old's color blocks, 80 year old grandma, and windows 10 tiles got together for another broken operating system like android
