Hi. I'm an absolute beginner so I followed the instruction to get the version "ng -v", it failed and listed instead the available commands. I then had to type "ng version" to get a similar result to you. This was under angular cli 7.0.4. Keep up the good work.

1. "ng help" = give list all available commands under ng. (Here you will find "version" name in the list) 2. "ng version" = give version number.

Angular CLI basically a command line interface for angular. It allows us to generate building blocks of our angular application by just typing out the commands. It makes the development quicker and easier.

Hi I am a totally beginner in the web development field. And I have no knowledge of prerequisites that you mentioned in this video like HTML, CSS and JS. Also no knowledge of Basics of Typescript at all. Is it necessary to learn all these prerequisites or anyone of them before learning Angular 6? An answer in this regard will be really appreciated as I am seriously tensed and unable to grab the knowledge after 2nd video of this tutorial. Thanks

I think you can learn on any version (2+) as the core concepts of Angular are mostly same. But the course has to cover most of the fundamental concepts.
